So I'm watching a rerun of the Big Bang Theory, one of the first with the Bernadette character. She is wearing a crucifix around her neck. Then I caught a more recent episode. No crucifix. It has been replaced by some sort of pendant.
I don't watch the Big Bang Theory very often, but that did strike me as curious.

I agree. Full of heart-felt sincerity and a good beat.
However, in recent years, I have come to realize that The Temps Just My Imagination is a work of genius, no exaggeraton. I would make the case that it's the finest single Motown ever produced.
What??? Are you telling me that Steely Tom's post #9 is some kind of song? I thought it was a detailed answer to my Big Bang Theory question, and I spent the last half hour trying to figure out its meaning.

You’re right. When it’s on in the other room, all I can heard is, “Hahahahaha.” “Hahahahaha.” “Hahahahaha.” “Hahahahaha.” Every second! You really realize then how much they overdo that laugh track. I saw a youtube video once where they somehow removed the laugh track from a scene of Big Bang Theory, and it really wasn’t very funny at all.

Bernadette IS presented as a Catholic character (one more thing for her Dad to disapprove about Howard-who is Jewish). She DID wear a cross, but now sports a star (that Howard brought along on this astronaut stint in the SpaceStation). The star www mentioned in an episode.
I really enjoy TBBT...the writing is smart and the characters are so quirky...I love that smart, nice Bernadette has a temper and that Penny is afraid of it!
No pun—but her short, sporty do has grown on me. I kinda like it. (But I used to be a hairstylist).
Even Bernadette’s boss (Stephen Root) is afraid of her. That’s why he hires the unqualified Penny.
It’s not as funny, but the actors don’t care anymore because they are all getting $1 million a week. It happened to friends and Seinfeld.
Penny is not as funny and looks horrible with the short haircut.

Cross probably offended some Muslim viewers .... Hollywood would surely bend over backwards or even forward for Muslims.

I watch the show before drifting off to sleep. It’s one of the few shows that won’t provoke me to yelling at the screen. That said: There are upfront and subtle ways of advancing the Gay Agenda. TBBT is an example of the latter style. One thing they and many other shows do is imbue the characters with the gay obsession/motivation with sex. THE primary motivation for every single character on that show with the exception of Sheldon is SEX SEX SEX. Before I saw the show wherein Sheldon calculates “Penny’s” total sexual contacts I had considered that she’d be one hell of a disease ridden skank in any half human context
Then consider that the majority of the characters have implied or acted out some same sex incident or outright gay action with the exception of Sheldon and maybe “Bernie”. Like the ladies in ‘Sex in the City’ the characters seem to be stand-ins for gay men.
Maybe she only wears it on Tuesdays.

Leonard irritates me to no end, if i was his roomate he’d be tossed out that 4th floor window in less than a week....with Raj following him shortly.
The only characters i like are Bernadette and Howard.
Penny drives me nuts also, i don’t care how good she looks, that thing she does with her mouth and her condescending attitude drives me nuts.
I still have no idea why i spent so much for the Plasma TV, i hardly watch it.
I DID watch a few good movies these past few days, Valkyire, Edge of Tomorrow, Inglorious Basterds and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Still, I should have kept the money and cancelled cable.
The gay innuendo from Raj all of the time.
