Even though Tim Tebow left Philadelphia without a contract offer from the Eagles after a workout on Monday, momentum seems to be building for a Tebow comeback attempt.
The 27-year-old quarterback hasn't played in the NFL since 2013, when the New England Patriots cut him before the regular season.
In the 18 months since, Tebow went on to work for ESPN as a college football commentator. But behind the scenes he has been working with Tom House, a California-based quarterback guru who has worked with Tom Brady.
House told Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman that he believed he "fixed" Tebow's throwing motion.
In an interview with Mike Tanier of Bleacher Report, House went into more detail about what exactly he meant.

It's more of a passing game in Canada than it is here - wider and longer field, three downs instead of four, yard separation between offensive and defensive lines. Tebow is not a passing quarterback.
OK - I think I see the problem now...
He had a similar problem to Tebow, in that teams needed to adjust their scheme from a standard NFL one to one that accommodated his talents. In Flutie's case, that meant lots more pulling, rollouts, etc., and less drop back passing. In Tebow's case, it would mean using off tackle runs and read option and being more run centric than the typical NFL offense is these days. Were I Tebow, I would go the Flutie route and go to the NFL, but I would try to use it as a springboard to get back sooner than 8 years. He'd have to put up some good numbers. As a runner, he only has about 8 years left. By then, he may be a more capable pocket passer.
I didn’t know about that yard separation. That must give the quarterbacks another second to get the pass off. Interesting.
You wouldn't be jealous, would you????
You wouldn’t be a sad cultist with a crush would you???
Meanwhile, he’s still not a good QB, there’s now 5 NFL coaches that say so.
Maybe his throwing has been “fixed”, but I doubt they can fix his quarterback IQ. I watched every game Tebow played, and he was no better at reading defenses and reading off his receivers during his last game than his first one.
We are a little touchy, aren’t we! LOL!
Is this the same House that was in baseball for a while?
Not me. Just pointing out your “argument” has nothing interesting to it.
“Perhaps the CFL would be a better place to try to stage the comeback.”
Guessing that’s his decision and any team wanting to look at him.
Sure a lot of Tebow haters everywhere.
I remember when Kurt Warner was playing for the Iowa Barnstormers 4 blocks from where I work; just a week or so from bagging groceries for a job at Hy Vee; our local grocery chain.
He was playing in a Super Bowl shortly after.
Glad he didn’t give up on his dream.
Notice though Kurt was willing to understand why he’d washed out of the NFL and accept lower end jobs to hone his skills and get that next opportunity. Tebow just can’t seem to wrap his head around that. He won’t play in the CFL, he won’t play in the AFL. He won’t try non-QB positions in the NFL. It’s good to dream, but if you actually want to achieve the dream you need to understand there’s more to the ladder than the top step.
If he would just denounce his faith all would be OK. /s
Agreed. People crapped all over Doug Flutie when he entered the pros. Also a Heisman Trophy winner, but always “too short, too small, no arm strength, etc.” He went to Canada and basically broke all their QB records. He won 3 Grey Cups (their Super Bowl) and was voted league MVP 6 times.
Then he got a chance in the NFL and became an All-Pro for the Bills. Also went on to play for the Chargers and Patriots. There’s no shame in going up to Canada. Of all people, you would think Tebow wouldn’t be too prideful to try it. Good luck to him. He seems like a great guy and I hope he makes it.
As I recall, if Tim went to the CFL, the Montreal Alouettes would have first claim on him. I don’t know if that factors into his refusal to go there.
No, then he'd be a pagan but no closer to playing in the NFL than he was before.
Tebow's last college game against Cincinnati in the Sugar Bowl.
31/35 482 Yards 3TDs/0 INTs
Doug Flute was ok in the NFL, but all-world in the CFL.
Warren Moon led Edmonton to Five-Straight Grey Cup titles.
Tebow's last regular season game against the Chiefs
6 for 22, 60 yards and one pick.
