Really? I thought it was of paramount importance to push the ‘R’ lever regardless of the name on the ballot. That was their mantra election cycle after election cycle.

I dunno- I would really like to see a slogan that addresses our Nations future....that it will be better, brighter, that are freedoms are not lost....Americans are tough, smart, adventurous, innovative.....that Cruz will help America be that again only better.

There are a boat load of “Established” Republicans that are scared to death of a Cruz Presidency.
Scared that their money would dry up.
We can call them “Crony Capitalists” or “Lobbyists”, but they have tremendous influence in Washington. They love making things more complex because it insures their future.
The last time any real discussion regarding serious Tax Reform occur was when Gingrich swept the House. To alleviate the concerns of a very powerful lobby of Tax Attorneys and Accountants, they passed legislation that would allow Accounts to become “Financial Advisers”.
IMHO, in order for Cruz to win, he MUST speak, without compromise, to the people.
His message resonates with true conservatives as well as those in the middle that just want to be left alone.
His message is the same as Reagan’s message “Washington, IS the Problem”

Well said. And the fact that no other candidate will jump on the tax reform bandwagon is telling.
It will make a great debating point. And the debates are where everything will change.
I’d like to see messages from Cruz that are directed to the “Individual”.
The Dems what to put everybody into a group.
Something like;
“I’m with Cruz, cause, I AM NOT A GROUP”
I think this would get a lot of traction.

It might be helpful to listen to his speech this morning. I think it was just posted again on FR. Like for instance he said lets “Reclaim America”.....there has to be some great verbiage in his speech.
“Reclaim America with Cruz”.....or something.....
That might clash with recent reports that he told a three-year-old that the world is on fire.
