Good. More fodder for RiffTrax (aka new MST3k).

Should be interesting.
Fringe also had a basis in X-Files.

Wow Gillian Anderson still looks good, I remember having a crush on her in the 90s. Lol

X-Files was the most intense show of its time. This has since been surpassed by a handful of shows (Breaking Bad, for example).
But X-Files stands out as a show that wasn’t afraid to portray Christianity in a positive light (by agent Scully).
I will be watching.

One of the best shows on TV. I still have VIDEOTAPE of the show I bought way back when that I watch.
They predicted the 9/11 attack - at least the method. To be completely precise, it was an episode of ‘The Smoking Gun’.
They need to bring back all the old players too - Froehicke, etc.

Ok. I’m a sexist pig. I used to watch it for Gillian.

Gillian Anderson was the "star in a reasonably priced car" guest recently on Top Gear. One of the last Jeremy Clarkson episodes, apparently.

I did not enjoy this program even though I love sy-fi. My problem was that it never resolved anything. Just one big tease.

I liked this series a lot but thought it went downhill after the movie.
My biggest disappointment with it was the killing off of interesting characters like Deep Throat, X, Mulder & Scully’s fathers, and Syndicate members.

I used to be an X-files junky. But the season after the first movie (and really the first movie) just lost me. 1 too many times there was a big “reveal” of the secret masters plans which turned out to be a group of even MORE secret masters pulling their strings.
And really Anderson is doing much better work right now on Hannibal and The Fall.

Trust no one. The famous phrase from the X-Files is coming back.I bought one of these
as I think William B. Davis is one of the best TV villains I had seen. Funny thing, when I wear it, people either avoid eye contact or (the younger ones) pump their fists and say "All Right!".
Sadly, I think he'd be too old now. I got a kick out of an interview they had with him and asked if he believed in any of the episodes. He scoffed at the idea "not a bit of it" but regretted he never had a chance to do a love scene with Dana. :-)
Some great CSM (Cigarette Smoking Man) quotes:
"Anyone who can appease a man's conscience can take his freedom away from him."
"Your lies have killed more men in a day than I have in a lifetime." (eerily familiar today)
