Emmylou is the only woman I can think of who rocks the gray/white hair look.

Looks like the video-game character of Emmylou.

I think some men shave their heads as a "pre-emptive strike" against approaching baldness. When a man goes progressively bald, he appears the victim of bad genes, and hence weak, but if he shaves his head, he looks macho and tough.
Maybe women are doing the same thing - at the first appearance of gray, they just get it over with and go gray all the way, giving them control and a mature sexiness.

I’m old. I rock my long gray curly hair. I earned it, and my extra weight and my wrinkles. I am not here to decorate anyone’s world. I do not want to “attract” any man except my husband who loves me and honors our long marriage. He knows where every gray hair I have comes from and he loves me for it, and I love him.
I ignore all of you (corporate you) haters.

They are not calling this gray. They are calling it Titanium or Titanium Silver.
My niece just went titanium. Of course before that she was blue, pink, and green. lol
The titanium looks better than the colors.

I found my first gray hair at 21, and was nearly fully gray by 40, just like my grandma and my dad. I couldn't wait until I was "old enough" to show it off.
2 years ago at 51, I figured it was time, so I stopped dying my hair. I've never had more positive compliments about my appearance in my life.

Well managed long grey is attractive. I see some way too full, what I refer to as the ‘witch’ look.
But I’m particularly fond of grey pixie.

I am 58, have never put any (or had applied by someone else) hair coloring or dye on my hair in my life. I have “salt and pepper”, I suppose. Natural is medium brown. When I first started getting noticeable greys in, I observed that many of the women with whom I would associate on a daily basis spent LOTS of time and money on hair coloring endeavors, and for the most part, did not look “good” or natural. I would not be the one to judge whether mine looks “good” or not, but it is the hair color God gave me, and I am okay with that.

I was gray ‘early’ .... my grandmother was silver in her thirties. Anyway, I fought it & did dye my hair, finally decided to embrace the natural color. It’s been the best thing I’ve ever done with my hair - get tons of compliments, and my hair is about 100% healthier than it used to be. Then there’s always this:
Proverbs 16:31
31 Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.

I'm going to see Emmylou with Rodney Crowell live May 23rd here in central Texas. Can't wait. I'm guessing there will be lots of grey hair onstage and in the audience including my own.
