Abraham Lincoln and George Washington were gay, says a new book by a gay activist and award winning writer. Larry Kramer, 79, says he believes what's written in his history book is true though he is selling it as fiction to avoid legal troubles. In Volume One of his two part book 'The American People,' Kramer says that Abraham Lincoln was gay and his killer John Wilkes Booth was actually Lincoln's spurned gay lover. 'We know that Abraham Lincoln was gay,' Kramer told CBS in an interview about the book which came out this month.

I remember many years ago people making insinuations about Johnny Mathis. He lived in San Francisco and was never seen with a woman. I never suspected anything until I got a bit older and the light bulb went on in my head.

It was not uncommon for strangers to share a bed in the mid 19th century. To cast that in a 21st-century homosexual light is telling in its laughable desperation.

The DailyMail has been flacking the Bruce Jenner story non-stop, salivating over every nipple sighting and bra strap, with telephoto close-ups of his nail polish circled in red. They are lunatics. Every melodramatic transgender story they can dig up, they emblazon with "proper" pronouns, calling confused tranny boys "she" and "her", etc. It was for many years a source of good news photos, but it's in the gutter now.
Ya. And apparently he is getting a little nasty and political about it, too.
What is difficult for my wife is that she always thought that he was writing his songs for her and girls and women like her. His songs touched her very deeply (as did for probably a lot of women). It has been tough for her to realize that he was probably writing his songs about his love for another man. Yuck!
Saddest of all is that she has lost a little innocence because of it. Innocence that is lost forever.
Her faith in Christ is still as strong as ever. Even stronger in recent years.
