Every scene in the trailer with the black guy shows him sweating a whole bunch. I wonder if he is the one the force is “awakening” in, and since it is happening to him as an adult if this is an effect of that...
either that or he is sweating be cause he is always surrounded by white guys with guns, well stormtroopers in white armor.
The black due isn’t Luke and besides Lando Was pretty cool in empire! I think this black guy is one of the people that the “force awakens” in as well as Luke’s Daughter and possibly maybe Han;s children....

Having seen a George Lucas film or two before this one, the preview, in spite of JJ’s direction, seems more of the same ol’ stuff only with newer CGI and a much much older Hans.
(Can Hans REALLY fly one of those without crashing onto a golf course? I doubt it.)

Three, three movie segments. 4, 5 and 6 to be the Rebellion...followed by 1, 2 and 3 to be the Clone Wars...with 7, 8 and 9 to be the further adventures of Luke Skywalker and his friends.
This was George's vision. I heard Lucas say this decades ago. He apparently grew tired of the whole mess but did decide to let someone else pick up the mantel. For a tidy sum I'm sure.
The fact that Lucas is out of the picture increased the possibility significantly.

Kinda like watching a 1970s rock band releasing new music in the 2010s that sounds just like their 1970s music. Hang it up. Learn some new instruments. Grow. Evolve. Do something.

Dare I say it looks like it’ll at least be better than the GD prequels, which isn’t a high bar to pass.
With Abrams being involved i’ll wait for the reviews before getting the least bit excited....
