For all the young people reading this. We once had a nice country. About 60 years ago. Cities were a place where you could actually live in safety. My grandmother used to take a bus and go downtown by herself.
That started changing in the late 50’s. The reason is obvious to all FR readers.

When you see old movies about people going downtown to see the sights it never looks like it does today. I am sure there were parts, even then, that might not be too safe after dark, but now the whole dang thing isn’t too safe in the daytime

The most discouraging thing to me was that a number of Baltimore residents who were interviewed, who seemed to me to be sane, decent, hard-working black people, were nonetheless STILL making excuses for the rioters.
So long as that remains the case, nothing can change.
Yes...I really don’t see it changing much at all....anymore than Africa’s changed with centuries of throwing money at it. They are a dependent mindset and resent that they are ....it’s like a love hate relationship...they love all the goodies from Government...but they hate they are not respected for doing so.
