After Donald Trump's Mexico-bashing comments this week, Mexicans are engaging in a little Trump-bashing of their own.
Call it revenge, Mexican style. Artisan Dalton Avalos Ramirez launched a Trump pinata Friday, featuring The Donald's inimitable hairstyle and a big, big mouth.
The papier-mache figure will come in a variety of sizes. The first was on display at the Pinatas Ramirez store in the border city of Reynosa.
Avalos Ramirez said he created it "because of the hatred Trump expressed for the Mexican people."
He said "people want to burn the pinatas, they want to break them. People are angry."
During his presidential campaign kickoff speech Tuesday, Trump accused Mexican immigrants of bringing drugs, crime and rapists to the U.S.

Traditionally, children in Mexico use sticks to break open candy-filled pinatas on birthdays and holidays.
Hey, this was is better. It’s filled with candy. Thew real one is full of... something else.
Everyone who does something like this is helping him.
Cool. Can I get ones of Obama, Pelosi, Boehner, McConnell, Reid, etc, etc.?
They've had those for years.
I don’t think that something like this will get much attention.
What? Mehicans do not like “free stuff” being taken away?
No more food stamps? No more maternity benefits? No more discount tuition to Dreamers?
What’s next, the Chinese use Trump’ face on the Dragon on Chinese New Year’s parade?
Trump must have hit a raw nerve!
I wouldn’t like it if someone said my country was all rapists, and their are more rapists in the U.S. than Mexico.
You obviously really really disliked Ronald Reagan.
Perhaps, but it is cumulative. Yesterday Cher attacked him. Now you and I could give a rodent’s rump what Cher says, but that isn’t true of her fans, especially the gays. Thus Trump gets exposure that he might not otherwise get. And I’m sure the late night and Comedy Channel comedians will be talking about him incessantly. More free publicity.
Isn’t this a hate crime?
Well, he’s a Kardashian, he’s gonna get attention. That’s his primary skill set. But it would be nice if Republicans ignore him.
lol. he is certainly full of that.
You obviously didn’t listen to his entire speech. He said they don’t send us their best people - and they don’t. He never said he hated the Mexican people. They are just mad because he wants to shut off the welfare spigot to them. Cuba did this to us many years ago - they emptied their mentally ill and prisoners on our shores. And, many of those who come from Mexico do commit these types of crimes. He didn’t say all of them do.
Ross Perot launched on Larry King in 1992, and for a whole year it never occurred to Rush Limbaugh or anybody else in the media that a vote for Perot was a vote for Clinton.
I could see Trump running as Hillary’s Perot.
The sad thing is that Trump actually brings some fire to the debate. I don’t know one other pol who can actually stir up the “pot”, so to speak, like Trump can. It is actually quite refreshing.
He doesn’t bring any fire, he just brings distraction from the issues. In 20122/12 he successfully played defense for Obama. And he doesn’t even believe the stuff hes saying.
Your guy Trump has his clothing line made in Mexico, and you know it. Bangladesh and China, too.
The artist is probably mad he couldn’t get a job in one of the factories.
If Mexico weren’t sending us mostly their worst people, and instead their best and brightest were leaving for the US, Mexico would be THANKING Trump for forcing them to stay in Mexico!
It’s a pretty good likeness of Trump... if anything, it’s a bit too complimentary.
