Conservative Tribune: As commander-in-chief, Barack Obama, through the Pentagon, has ordered U.S. troops to obey Shariah law.
Specifically, all U.S. military personnel in Muslim nations were put on notice to “be familiar with host-nation customs and courtesies to help facilitate a long-lasting mutual respect with local communities. U.S. military members serving in countries that observe Ramadan are required to adhere to certain practices while outside U.S. installations.”
The post also included a picture that read “Respect Ramadan.”
Capt. Dan Sickles, host nation officer-in-charge, told military personnel, “Members should be respectful of local customs and be patient with host nation personnel. Ramadan is a countrywide religious celebration. Members should not make light of local customs and should also expect that during daylight hours host nation customer service will be abbreviated and less accommodating.

We were asked to try and respect Muslim customs while we took up headquarters for our troops during Desert Storm. However, the real details hopefully are enough to clarify how much different now is from over 20 years ago.
This applies only outside of US facilities while among the local population.
Sharia law is much like our Constitution...it means whatever those in power says it means.

We were briefed to observe Muslim customs in 1980 before deploying to SA.

This is a tacit admission that the moslems are a lesser people that us. With equals, everyone follows their own customs and nobody is offended.
With childish peoples, savages, and idiots, you exercise reasonable care so as not to unnecessarily inflame the lesser peoples.
This is actually quite comical if you think about it. Only intellectual equals are expected to share similar respect.
obama and the Left are “all in”. Nothing they do to hurt America and Americans is shocking -— mildly surprising on occasion — but not shocking. Prepare yourselves from what is to come -— from obama, from the socialist Democrat Party, from the Left, and from far too many in the Duplicitous Party (i.e., the former GOP).
And only we did it, not the French, the Brits, etc. They needed their ass saved,,, and we had to be polite while doing so.
