Ariana Grande is but yet another twisted link in a growing chain of bitter ignorance and defiant decadence that is strangling our youth’s ability to discern our most basic blessings. If I may ask, Princess, what is so unbearably unfair about living in a nation that tolerates and graciously rewards ungrateful, spiteful, and spoiled Disney debutantes like yourself? Is your festering rage caused by the fact your seven-figure checks aren’t made on recyclable hemp paper or that you might actually have to sign them? Could it possibly emanate from the disturbing discovery your naked “selfies” are no longer private or that you took them in the first place; the brutal reality your own humiliated father had to bear witness to your former 'ghetto fabulous' boyfriend tweeting about giving his daughter that “D” in Detroit? Rather than appreciating the very vehicle of her success and fame – basking in the light of liberty and giving thanks for its innate bounty of endless opportunity – Miss Grande chooses to cry injustice because ordinary people have the inalienable right to free speech and sentient thought. And yet, regardless of anyone’s “offensive” political or religious beliefs, she is not going blind from drinking river water in Africa, scavenging through the diseased landfill of Haiti, or being beaten and beheaded for nothing more than being born a Muslim. Oh, the incomprehensible inhumanity! How "fat" are your concert tickets again?
If we’re talking about “true” discrimination and justifiable disgust – not that progressive Hollywood variety that requires physically dialing 911 because Miley Cyrus has chapped lips or your Range Rover is racist – then by all means, enlighten America about the perilous plight of human indignation. Choosing to cast dispersions at an entire nation, the media-driven stereotypes you step on to ascend to your opulent throne of righteousness, merely proves you’re still a little girl; both intellectually and emotionally. Mirrors aren’t just for the digital art of undressing hypocrisy, Ariana; they’re also for discovering you’re the one who is hopelessly out of place. It's a pity those with the most blessings in life, tend to have the least amount of love for this great country. God Bless America and please stop molesting the donuts!
