Missing from Scott Walkers AP Press Release Common Core
By Donna Garner
7.13.15
Scott Walker has decided to announce for the Presidency today, but notice what has been left out of Scott Walkers AP press release any mention of Common Core.
Leading up to todays launch, Scott Walker meant to tout his supposed success at dumping Common Core in Wisconsin; but when the grassroots people of Wisconsin caught him in a lie, he was forced to retreat from his original press release and hope nobody noticed. We noticed!
Instead of dumping Common Core as often publicly stated by Scott Walker once he decided to run for the Presidency, he simply rebranded the name of the Common Core assessments, calling them the Badger Exams. The problem is the Badger Exams have to be aligned to the Common Core. What gets tested, gets taught.
In reality, the school children of Wisconsin will be dumbed down and indoctrinated by the Common Core; and they will have Scott Walker to blame. (7.6.15 From Wisconsin Leaders: Scott Walker Playing Games with Common Core -- http://www.educationviews.org/donna-garner-today-7-6-15-wisconsin-l...
If Scott Walker tries to deceive the American people about Common Core, what else will he do to try to fool the voters?
In contrast, I love what Ted Cruz has stated, This Presidential election is going to boil down to one word TRUST.
Ted Cruz chose not to put a dropdown box on TedCruz.org that says Issues which is the typical format for a candidate. Instead, Ted Cruz put Proven Record because that is what the American people want to see not what a candidate says he wants to do but what a candidate has ACTUALLY DONE. Donna Garner
You would base your decision on who should be the President of the United States, the most powerful position in the history of mankind, on what that person' opinion was of 1 state deciding, by a vote of its legislature and governor, to retire a confederate battle flag to a museum????
And in the same statement, you state that HE doesn't have a clue????????
With the right to vote comes responsibility to understand what's happening.
LOL! You don’t know me very well. I have been keeping files on political candidates for over 8 years now. Every time there is a news article, interview etc that I think could have some influence on my vote I put a link in a WORD document with that candidate’s name on it.
Then, when it is time for me to decide I check sites like Conservative Review and others and consult my files. I make a list of pros and cons and the candidate which is closest to my beliefs and has more pros than cons wins my vote.
I said it was the LAST STRAW. Not the only straw:)
Of course you can find liberals in Wisconsin...a former mayor of Milwaukee was a socialist!!! Wisconsin, Madison and Milwaukee in particular, have been bastions of ultra-liberal, union backing Democrats for years....my family was among them...Dad was a teamster, mom worked for a company assembling ejection seats for the military
Both were firm union backers and as such, couldn't see the forest for the trees.
Scott Walker has done more in favor of Wisconsonites than did the last 5 Demo governors.
When peopple wake up and realize that you cannon expect to live on money that you FORCE others to donate to you...all will be well.
No-one begrudges those who legitimatlely can't....but those who don't support themselves because they expect you to do so are getting far too numerous.
Whoops, I forgot to comment on Carter...
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, again, mention Carter in the same paragraph with Walker............NEVER
Maybe they are his nephew and friend, maybe they are his cousin and her friend....maybe you shouldn't be so paranoid about something as harmless as associating with homosexuals
Do we refer to President Clinton as Ms. President, or Madam president, perhaps Mrs. president...and what about good old Bill....First Man, first husband, those are decisions that you will have to make if you opt against almost president Walker....
I’m not betting on a horse race. I’m choosing the future president of our country.
I blame the lesser of two evils and pick the one who can win for Obama’s presidency.
If you want to keep making the same mistakes go ahead. No one is stopping you.
There are a couple of non-conservative positions that Cruz and Walker have taken, you could write 'em on the back of a business card.
You could fill a pamphlet the size of a Reader's Digest with Jeb's.
You could fill the Britannica with Trump's.
The only reason that I even mentioned the Walker’s social life with gays is because Napscoordinator sent me a nasty slam on Ted Cruz saying his best friend was gay (completely false) and slamming Cruz because one of his donors is gay.
I care much more that Walker hired the nasty piece of work, Brad Dayspring.
The folks that I stay in contact with are Conservatives who voted for Walker. They have been upset by the poor ranking of Wisconsin on business startups, job creation and the WEDC debacle. The last time I heard from them, they were furious over the attempt to real the Open Records laws.
That would trouble me, too. I lived in Arkansas when Slick Willie pulled that one.
I don’t consider Jeb worth the time. I don’t know of anyone who is voting for him.
As for Trump, it is harder to assess since he ahs no voting record on issues. I think a lot of time, people who are not running for election spout the same line their friends do. I am watching Trump and enjoying how he is driving the left nuts, as well as the GOPe.
