GOP 2016 contenders Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)96%. are joining forces in a confrontational intervention that intends to defund Planned Parenthood. As Breitbart TV previously reported, Trump announced he would support a government shutdown to defund Planned Parenthood following the release of a series of investigative videos allegedly showing the organization’s top medical personnel engaged in the sale of aborted baby body parts.
“And I was also in support — if the Republicans stuck together, you could have done it with Obamacare also,” Trump said on Monday’s Hugh Hewitt Show. “But the Republicans decided not to stick together.”
As Politico also reported, Cruz attempted the same strategy in 2013 in an effort to defund Obamacare, which resulted in a 16-day shutdown of the federal government, but still left President Obama’s signature healthcare reform very much alive.
Trump blamed Cruz’s Republican colleagues for leaving him in the lurch.
"And they left a few people out there Like Sen. Ted Cruz (R) TEX< " he continued. "You know they left a lot of the people that went in and really wanted to do the job. And you know what, if they would have stuck together, they would have won that battle"

I’m so glad to see that Trump has come out on the right side of this issue. Having listened to his story of how his change of heart came about, I do believe it is genuine.

Very good perspective. Cruz for a running mate would ensure that Conservative ideals would guide the agenda. Together they could be just the right prescription for what ails this country.
Yeah, this is the kind of remark I saw the other day when that pic was posted. The Trump fans were making fun of Cruz's height, his suit, etc., and comparing him unfavorably to their hero.

What if Trump makes a big splash in the debates on this. Instead of doing ho hum debating which it is not he makes an outrageous claim about PP and makes a big demand or something like that.
and what if Cruz does a tag team with him where they bury the others and make it all about PP.

Carly Fiorina isn’t as conservative as I would like but she has been very good at handling the media and has been a real lioness about going after Clinton.
The talking heads panic when they can’t find the right box for a candidate. Trump just keeps blowing up the box! LOL!
No worries. Cruz will learn fast how to look elegant, gain executive experience, and show people how brilliant he is, as VP in the Trump administration.
I supported her when she ran for the US Senate in CA and went to one of her campaign rallies.
First it was immigration.
Now it is PP. Can you imagine if these 2 are successful at shutting down the government and defunding PP the excitement infused into this race?

Knowing Trump he sees a huge issue here. Let’s see how much he throws in the back of this. This could bring the democrats and cartel republicans down in a big way. May also get Boehner expelled. Could also damage Hillary in a very big way since she has come out in favor of butchering babies.

As much as a VP spot for Cruz looks good on paper, I’d rather he was President, or retain some high position in the Senate. That place needs a real house cleaning. The VP does not have any real power.
