Welcome To Fantasy Island! An advance man points up as Trump's "plane" lands: The Plane! The Plane!

"Welcome to Fantasy Island!"

Wherever Trump's "plane" lands, that area becomes known (albeit temporarily) as "Fantasy Island," and an advance man for Trump points upward when Trump's "plane" is about to land and says, "The plane! The plane!"

On [Trump's] Fantasy Island, everything is either false, an illusion, or is grounded in smoke and mirrors at best:

[My favorites are #'s 3, 4, 5, 9 and 10]

1.) On Trump's Fantasy Island, Trump never repeats his talking points ad nauseam.

2.) On Trump's Fantasy Island, Ann Coulter speaks at a Trump rally and magically becomes a conservative!

3.) On Trump's Fantasy Island, China and Mexico are stealing our jobs, except if these specific countries happen to make a Trump product that will be pumped back into the U.S. - and then they aren't stealing our jobs!!!

4.) On Trump's Fantasy Island, Oreo's made in other countries are bad, but if Trump ties are made in another country then those ties are good!

5.) On Trump's Fantasy Island, Trump's evolution to conservatism is just as valid as Reagan's because Trump didn't prove this through serving two terms as governor and after that from 1975 to 1980!

6.) On Trump's Fantasy Island, Trump talks about every poll, even the ones that are not so good in his favor.

7.) On Trump's Fantasy Island, all liberal news outlets and their polls are now suddenly trustworthy, even though these news outlets have been eviscerated for years by Talk Radio hosts!

8.) On Trump's Fantasy Island, Morning Joe isn't shilling for The Donald.

9.) On Trump's Fantasy Island, there are more unnamed people wanting to give this or that ($$$?) to Trump, support this or that, etcetera, etcetera, than the New York Times has unnamed sources.

10.) On Trump's Fantasy Island, The Donald didn't "blink" when it came to Univision's Jorge Ramos...

Oh noooo!

Does that mean that Trump is going to have Robert Reich (Tattoo) as a cabinet member?

I thought that you also would get some laughs out of this.

Some levity here at FR is needed.

Have fun!

Yeah he has his OWN plane and HELICOPTER two I think, so when he becomes POTUS he won’t be billing us taxpayers all this money to use Air Force One, because HIS plane will be Air Force One....

No. In the extremely unlikely situation where Trump is elected President, he would use Air Force One and Marine One, not his own aircraft. The Secret Service (not to mention the military) wouldn't allow it. Despite being based on a 747-200, Air Force One is a technologically advanced aircraft that is nothing like a civilian airliner.

Since when did I say I wanted to get into his head? More Ad Homs and misplace attacks. Yawn.

No personalizing things, either.

Personal attacks aren’t allowed at FR. Remember?

If I am wrong on anything from 1-10 then say it. Otherwise beat it, ok?

When people get angry at sarcasm, you know you have hit pay-dirt. And you and others are certainly angry. LOL. A win for me.

Keep dreaming...keep dreaming.

Trump’s negatives among all voters nationwide in poll after poll are staying high and staying put.

Nothing in your OP indicated ‘sarcasm’. Further, nothing in your posting it out to others with your “thought you’d enjoy this” says sarcasm either.

Refute items 1-10? You mean YOUR 1-10? Did you write them or did someone else?

It isn’t personal, but it wasn’t just a ‘bystander’ post either. I know the rules as well as you, too.

Although ‘Air Force One’ can describe any Air Force aircraft carrying the President, it is now standard practice to use the term to refer to specific planes equipped to transport the Commander-in-Chief.

I fully understand that "Air Force One" can describe any Air Force aircraft carrying the President, (a) Trump's plane is not an Air Force aircraft, and (b) Trump's plane lacks the defense systems, communication systems, refueling capacity, and other advanced technologies that Air Force One has. Trump (or any other President) would use Air Force One, not his own plane)

Hey, the labeling of sarcasm is considered to be neanderthal here on FR.

Those that can’t recognize it need the jolt anyway, just to keep their gray cells from ossifying.

If you don’t like a thread, then don’t post on it. It’s that simple.

If you don’t like a thread and still post on it, that doesn’t give you a right to engage in personal attacks.

If you can’t figure out that this is humorous sarcasm, then you never will, as it flew right over your head.

Do I have to put the .s/ and then /s. or something to that effect at the beginning and the end for you?

Geez....

Gee. Thanks for your input like I signed up here yesterday. After the fact “it was sarcasm” isn’t cutting it. I explained why I responded; if you don’t like it, maybe you and whatshisface can just hit the abuse but and get me banned then.

If Trump’s run, however short it’s gonna be, succeeds in tanking Jeb Bush’s viability and campaign, then I’m all for it - even when Cruz is my go-to guy.

If I get banned and Trump succeeds, then I consider that a plus.

Jeb, the person has caused Jeb the candidate to tank.

Who said anything about banning?

Explain what part of what I said was this the “personal” you claim? Because you apparently wrote it all yourself and then posted it out separately to others as “thought you’d get a kick out of this?” Does this mean anything posted by you in the future is to be taken as sarcasm?

I guess according to your rule, I’ll have to just ignore anything from you now because I can’t post to it unless I laugh whatever.....

I agree. It’s not possible to discuss Trump on FR without having the irrational attack dogs come out. I actually cancelled my monthly donation to FR because the Trumpsters are attacking good, long term conservative FReepers in ways that I thought only the Dems did.

I don’t really care what all the TDS people say now, frankly.

He IS NOT my candidate, but this obsession with trashing Trump in any way possible, via supposed sarcasm, endless op eds, opinions or whatever thread is wearing thin. It wears thin because the meat and substance of this fight to regain our country is getting lost in the melee of trashing and the loss of the genuine conservative candidates’ ideas, goals and plans can’t be furthered with this nagging insistence on Trumpisms.

IT is very similar to what dims do and for good reason; liberalism is impossible to defend so they attack the messenger.

I will not be deterred from defending conservative principles in this conservative forum. No conservative should.

In the last elections....

For Obama fans, It didn’t matter what Obama did or said in the past, all that mattered to them is that they liked what he said and how he said it. It is like they would suspend reality for the guy.

For Some Trump fans, the same rules seem to apply.

I have liked alot of the things I have heard Trump say. However, If I just do a quick look at his past and what he has done and said and who he has praised, I can’t help but wonder about him.
