So did anyone go to church today and hear any mention of Kim Davis being jailed for adhering to her Christian beliefs?

“I’m still waiting to see the epic fight between Muslims and the homosexuals, unless of course they are in league together to destroy Christianity.”

You’ll have to wait until Hell freezes over because they are lead by the same force. But, that being said, there is no honor among thieves which is one good thing about evil; they can’t help but destroy each other. Let’s hope that the remnant can seal themselves off.

To: who knows what evil?

It’s great you have a pastor you can trust, internet or not.

This current event certainly has a big potential effect on the faith.

They could be reading from the Racing Form for all the congregation knew.

For all the attention modern parishioners pay, a priest could do that in the vernacular and get away with it...

I asked some of my fellow churchgoers repeat the first two lines of the most commonly used Eucharistic Prayer; not only were they not able to do so, they didnt even know at what point in the service the Prayer occurs...so much for the greater access for the Faithful in the vernacular Mass...

Is Bunning appointed for life? Or is he impeachable....or something?

Hope the immoral side of SCOTUS is proud of itself.

For many Americans, Sunday services are a time of peaceful reflection in which they can quietly review their memories about the college games they watched yesterday and tranquilly anticipate the professional games they are about to watch as soon as church lets out.

Tell that to all the preachers in the “Black Robe Brigade” who preached liberty from the British.

You don’t give up your first amendment rights when you walk in the church.

Probably right. Herod and Pilate were made friends ‘because of him’.

But, when the Christians are either gone, or underground, or in slavery, THEN the mooslims will make the homosexuals wish that they were never born. Anhauser-Busch will not be turning a profit either.

I’m pretty sure it isn’t against the law to preach politics in church. It’s just that the church/minister is not allowed to endorse a specific candidate.

The sermon at my church was about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. I couldn’t have been the only person who noticed the “coincidence”.

There’s an article floating around here at FR that judge bunning forced anti-homosexual activists to attend sensitivity training. So even though he may not be homosexual himself, he certainly champions the homosexual agenda.

Is she an elected official?

Did she not swear an oath to defend the laws?

If once elected they change the laws you owe to your oath to resign and work to change the law.

Flame away.

Yes, the church I go to was specifically founded because of this cultural assault on Christianity and true Christian traditional moral values that this country was built on.

Orphans from the ELCA, we and the pastor talked about it, prayed about it, and marked it on our calender as the week that an American citizen went to jail in protest of US federal government Tyranny against Christian faith.
He also preached on Hebrews 11 about faith.
It was that simple.

I encourage everyone to seek a church which seeks Jesus and his will over the worlds favor.
Leave the goats behind if they will not see the light, you will be blessed.
Do remember what Jesus calls the hatred for His sake...

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate
Kathy Shaidle, FrontPageMag.com
Monday, April 07, 2008

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obama’s pastor in a heated interview about his Church’s teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...

Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004

In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.

The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

Her oath to God is superior.

Her resistance to this unconstitutional law is quite clearly protected by the constitution.

There should be no job, government or otherwise in the whole of this Judeo Christian country that should run contrary to a Christian’s belief to the point where the person cannot in good faith do it. (with only one exception perhaps, where military service is required)

Well there are many now...but never before...Many clerks have been forced to resign. She decided to fight it, as I would have.

Do you see the problem with that?
