The rover Spirit has recorded temps as high as 98 degrees F, and we have photos from Viking in the 1970s showing frost (looks thick enough to be called snow). So, it makes sense that if water (or some liquid) freezes and melts that it would flow. I'm just not sure why this is breaking news now.
