I know, I know....not this sh*t again, but, hey, talking conspiracies here on FR is fun.
I was in 7th grade homeroom when the PA announced the President had been shot and then later announced JFK had died.
Where were you?
And what really happened?

My God! I didn’t see anything on tv or twitter, FB or anywhere else mentioning this. It’s fading the way Pearl Harbor faded.

I was in kindergarten when this was announced. A truly black day in our history.

If you look closely at the hood ornament of the car trailing JFK, you can quite clearly see a laser beam being emitted. This was the marker for the the 15 some odd snipers in and around Dealy Plaza.

A few cable channels have had programs on today about it.

Hmm, maybe because I lived through it, when I woke up this morning and saw it was Nov. 22, the JFK assassination immediately came to mind.

I was very young and unable to distinguish between presidential-assassination household turmoil and the normal, everyday domestic turmoil. The first Administration that I have clear memories of was Johnson’s.
“The rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God.” - President John F. Kennedy
I might be wrong here, but I think that Zell Miller might have been the last holdout before the radical left hijacked their party.

But did the Official 'Warren Report' really report what actually happened?Hell no it didn't. The ballistics sections of the report are pure fantasy. Arlen Spector was rewarded with a long long senatorial seat for his part in that lie. I know, I know, the assassination of JFK is a conspiracy theorist's wet dream, there are so many threads to be followed. But one has to admit there are many many holes in the Warren Report and so much background material is still locked away.
For a good fictional read, try Stephen Hunter's The Third Bullet. Excellent.

I was in 6th grade. Coming back from lunch, we kids were told to head for the auditorium. That is where the principal made the announcement, then sent us home. I remember all the sadness in our house for the next couple of days as we had the tv tuned in to the funeral. I remember Mom crying when John Jr. saluted his father's casket. Even now when I see film clips of that salute, I think of my mother and it makes me sad too.

I remember that day! Senior year, we were in SHOP class when we got the word. We went to the shop where we had a car in we working on and listened to the radio reports all that day.
I also remember when bobby Kennedy was shot. I was in the USAF at Little Rock AFB.
I remember when Reagan was shot and ABC news was in hysterics. When it was mentioned that the gun was bought in DALLAS, Frank Reynolds threw his hands in the air and yelled...”AGHH! DALLAS!”

This was way before my time, but I did spend hours as a child watching documentaries on it and reading books about it.
