Seeing their toddler playing with scissors can be a terrifying sight for any parent but for Kerry McFadyen it was a moment that changed everything.
The 32-year-old came across the scene in the bathroom of her home in Strathspey, Scotland, when three-year-old son Daniel said he wanted to cut off his penis so he could be a girl.
It led to his parents making the difficult decision to allow Daniel to become Danni, in what is believed to be the UK's youngest case of a child wanting to change sex.

Oliver Sacks, beloved by libs (although I think he makes up stories - and he has been called a fantasist) has written extensively about people who dissociate a limb. It may very well be a form of mental illness or some other kind of illness. But in today’s crazy world, that means we saw off the limb.

Why are these people not in prison and their child removed from their home?
I don’t see in the article where they actually DID IT. Sounds like they just let the kid act and dress as a girl and let him make up his mind at the age of 18.
Didn’t this kind thing used to be the back story for slasher flicks?

First of all, I agree that this is a bs, cover story. If it is true or not, the question should be, why/how does a 3 year old, let me repeat that, how does a THREE year old, decide that he is the WRONG sex? What is wrong with being a man? (In this child’s eye.) What did this “mother” do? Someone should ask him WHY he wants to be a girl, the answer will be very telling.

How does he know girls don’t have penises? Who told him that? He must have seen or been told it by an adult.
I suspect abuse.
A 3 yo has no clue about his penis much less cutting it off. And mama just happened to go into the bathroom at the exact time and he announced his actions in a manner far beyond his scope of a 3 yo’s world. Did she ask why he wanted to be a girl and what made him think that would make him a girl? The answer, IF this really happened, could have been quite simple.
The truth, his mom is mentally ill and wanter a girl but got a boy and has been unhappy ever since. This is all mom
