Two flight attendants reportedly got into a fist fight on a recent Delta fight.
The skies werenât so friendly on a recent Delta Air Lines flight. After two female flight attendants got into a fist fight on flight 2598 traveling from Los Angeles to Minneapolis, the captain decided to make an unscheduled landing in Salt Lake City.
According to the Aviation Herald, the flight attendants had a disagreement over work issues on the flight. A third woman on the plane tried to break up the fight and was also hit by the brawling flight attendants. At that point, the captain made the decision to land the Boeing 757. The plane was flying just south of Salt Lake City when the fight broke out.

The Aviation Herald reports that the airline sent a letter of apology to passengers that stated, in part: âSome of our team members did not display their best behavior. We expect our flight crew to be nothing but courteous and professional at all times and what you experienced was far from that. I am sorry we didnât deliver on our brand promise for you today.â
There have been many recent examples of passenger air rage, but not as many with flight attendants. In Sept. 2012, two United Airlines flight attendants sharing a jump seat got in a fight, while that same month, two American Airlines flight attendants battled it out over a mobile phone. And in 2010, JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater made headlines when he announced that he was quitting his job over the planeâs PA system, then slid down the evacuation slide.
Yahoo Travel reached out to Delta for comment, but hadnât heard back at press time.

I haven’t seen a real cat fight since at a Ted Nugent concert in ‘79 or ‘80. Thankfully it was before Humble Pie came on to open for him.
Jackie Onassis clones.
LAX-MSP would likely be mainline and definitely Delta mainline on a 757. It wasn’t a Delta Connection carrier.
It’s been a long time since I saw a flight attendant like this.
Pics — or it didn’t happen.
Air travel has gotten a lot less glamorous, that’s for sure. You’d think that to get LAX-MSP, you’d have more of a seasoned crew in the mix as well from a seniority standpoint.
We fly Jet Blue, a few times a month, and I don’t think there is one straight male flight attendant in their ranks.
Female flight attendants aren’t what they used to be. The standards were set pretty high years ago. A friend of mine ,who is now pushing 80, applied to one of the airlines ,out of high school, and was denied because they din’t think her teeth were straight enough. Even at 80, she is one good looking woman. I can only imagine what she looked like in her teens.
I still get somewhat dressed up to fly. Not quite a suit, but not looking like some of the riff-raff on board.
I am not old enough to remember that kind of flying, but I would love to go back to that. Now it’s like the greyhound of the skies on a lot of these carriers.
From the headline, I was picturing one of them hitting the other with a purse. Then I got to the story and saw they were both female.
Years back when I had to fly for work, Delta had the bitchiest attendants, sounds like they still do.
Heck, remember when people used to dress up to go out to eat...or for church...or a wedding...or a funeral?
I miss it.
Sure, I like being able go nearly anywhere and do nearly anything in a rumpled pair of jeans and a ratty shirt, but...there just isn’t any ceremony in damn near anything anymore.
And I miss that.
Or ballgames, back then everyone went in suits, now everyone wears the team’s jersey.
Knowing Delta the stu’s were both AARP members...
The last time I went for jury duty I was kind of surprised at how sloppily people dress for that, these days.

Is there an extra charge for getting a flight where the stewardesses fight?
Sounds good to me.A flight with a movie and a live show.
