[VANITY] So What Does Your Get Tell You?,A Trump/Cruz, Cruz/Trump, Or A Cruz/Rubio Ticket?

Posted on 03/04/2016 5:51:52 PM PST by Cruz_West_Paul2016

Odds are most of us would settle for a Trump/Cruz ticket, that seems to be the ticket that would insure a landslide. But what is your preference? Which ticket would you prefer to take out Hillary in a 55/45 shellacking?

Quite possibly a Romney/Bush. Though as history has shown it
may be a Trump/Bush or a Cruz/Bush. Just like with Reagan,
the GOPe may force them to take Cockeyed Jr. as VP or withhold
support.

Trump first.

And if i was Donald i would nominate my son. Blood is thicker than water.

Of course its probably illegal.

For VP? Wait until the primary is over.

Here in Ohio,it’s easier to find an honest lawyer than it is to find someone who likes John.

THat’s good. Maybe I’m wrong about the dismal prospect of Kasich as VP.

It would be provide a strong team against either a very wounded and vulnerable Clinton run or a very enthusiastic, yet overly liberal, Sanders run

Except the candidates will be Biden/Warren.

And .. with the prospect of Cruz continuing for 8 more years after 8 years of Trump - that sounds really good to me.

The only way I could accept Cruz after Trump is with legislation or a valid legal opinion that "The Monroe Doctrine" established a de facto dominion as protector over "The Americas" which invited Cubans and/or Canadians to be a distinct American (in its broadest sense) natural born class, which at the same time disallows any person born on any other continent.

This is own idea and I have no idea that it could stand. I think a point could be made since "The Monroe Doctrine" declared a American hegemony in our hemisphere.

What we must not let happen is the establishment of a precedent for a foreign born individual from Europe, Asia, or Africa to become President of The United States, ever.

How does Biden get enough delegates to win the nomination? The dates for the primary ballots are all passed. If Clinton gives away her delegates, do you think the under-25 year old, rabid Bernie supporters are going to just vote for whoever the DNC chooses for them?

You think the revolution on the Republican side against the establishment is bad, image what happens on the Democrat side if they try to undercut Sanders.

1968 will look like a fistfight in the parking lot.

Quite frankly, I don’t care whether you accept Cruz after Trump .. or not.

The very fact that you don’t know the law well enough to understand that a child born of AN AMERICAN CITIZEN (even when said Citizen is not in the USA), the child is still automatically a citizen.

There is no precedent being set.

Assuming that the Scalia seat is not filled by Senate surrender to Obozo, the next sixteen years should certainly see the end of the tenures of Anthony Kennedy, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Stephen Breyer, Clarence Thomas and, from the looks of her and how she has porked up, Sonya Sotomayor. Of the current court, only Chief Justice Roberts and Associate Justices Alito and Kagan are likely to still be there in sixteen years.

A Republican candidate who will not vow a blood oath to stack each and every vacancy with young (still in their 40s preferably) absolute hardliners with track records is not fit to be nominated. This is a sixteen year golden window of opportunity to deal with SCOTUS once and for all. The same standard should apply to the Circuit Courts of Appeal and Federal Trial Bench appointments. The lower courts are important in their own right and as feeders to the higher courts. How many times are conservative social issue initiatives stifled by imperial judges who strike down laws restricting abortion with impunity, act as enemies of religion and religious freedom in public life, thwart the punishment of criminals (they keep Charlie Manson and Sirhan Sirhan alive for 40-50 years by arbitrary judicial fiat, inventing constitutional "rights" as they go along. If people are voting for Donald Trump because they are rightly fed up with the force-feeding of political correctness down the throats of every American, they should remember that PC is a very fertile source of judicial tyranny.

I prefer a Cruz/Walker ticket BUT will be far more amenable to Trump/Cruz with adequate assurances that Ted Cruz picks the judges. It is his field of expertise. Governor Greg Abbot would be trusted to appoint a suitable new senatorial replacement. Eventually, Cruz could be appointed to SCOTUS.

As an additional observation regarding Cuba, the neighboring island of Puerto Rico has been US territory for a hundred years and Puerto Ricans are of course US citizens.

Although Cuba gained independence from the United States in 1902, the US retained the right to intervene in Cuban affairs and to supervise its finances and foreign relations. This provisio continued until Castro's revolution in 1959.

Any Senate appointment in TX is good only for six months. A special election is required within six months.

I can't speak for Joh Valentine or anyone else, but I can say that, while I am not thrilled by Trump, I can vote for him against whatever the Demonrats nominate. I would not cast Lucifer's vote for Moral Monster Mitt Romney and I did not. When I refused to vote for M3R, it made no difference in the election. I voted for Tom Hoefling and the difference was that I will never have to apologize to God for voting for M3R who was no better than Obozo.

Today, I hear that M3R has vindicated that decision of mine not t vote for him in 2012. If he will not vote for Trump if Trump is the GOP nominee, Mittens must imagine himself on his fantasy planet if he imagines that Trump and Cruz and Rubio and Kasich and Scott Walker and Ben Carson and Rick Santorum and probably the janitor over at the Jefferson Memorial and just about anyone else would not be infinitely superior to the likes of M3R.

My grandmother, and maybe yours, used to say: Show me your friends and I'll tell you what you are. Also works when you show her your enemies and she can tell you what you are not. Romney's obscene behavior toward Trump will only gain Trump votes.

Oh, stuff it! I am not alone in my justifiable opinion and your candidate clearly has a fatal handicap. I attempted to reach out to you in a gesture of goodwill. You sound like a fool to not even discuss it.

Let me show you the precedent. Suppose Cruz is nominated and elected. A few years from now a Muslim man in Saudi Arabia heavily in the oil industry takes an American wife. They travel back to the middle east and a child is born. By your flawed view he is considered a Natural Born American. The child, raised by his father as violently anti-American but comes back here, runs a flawless campaign with lies and deceit and is elected. This candidate could not be stopped because of the precedent set by Cruz. According to their arcane rules, if a Islamic is leader of a country it must become an Islamic nation. The destruction of The USA is at hand, and it is your hand.
