It is a simple matter to portray any public figure in any imaginable light simply by using their own words. It is more important to look at the person’s achievements. That is the measure of a man.
if you go in the wayback machine you can even find JimRob identifying Trump as NOT a conservative etc. Back before everyone fell down the rabbit-hole into Trumplandia.
stay or go, doesn’t matter one whit, we aren’t the fainting sorts, but we will call out nastiness and bad manners when we see it here.
Some of us have taken the measure of the man, and found him wanting.
Clearly he needs to prove himself. If it comes to a choice is he more to be trusted than Hillary?
And the truth be told Reagan failed to deliver on most of his promises. However what he did deliver was so good and wonderful that we love him to this day. As is the case with most great leaders.
Trump was a Democrat back in the day. Of course, he disliked Reagan. Trump was a rich young man who got richer. Impressive, but hardly defines his character. Try reconciling his Twitter feed with presidential temperament. Try figuring out where he stands on a given issue. Those are my dilemmas.
Trump said Reagan conned voters. That would mean he was a conman. See how that works? And, I find it fascinating that Carter hit up Trump for $5mill. Very telling. Just like Hillary at his wedding. I cannot trust Trump. Nothing I have seen endears him to me. Not a thing.

Today’s Trump fan winner is the person who said that all of the dirt has already come out on Trump, so Hilary won’t have any new stuff for the general election.
I respect that completely.
Trumpkins delude themselves about many things. That Ospreys funny though, and I guess they think the media has dumped all they have on him too? Hahaha
I have listened to about a dozen of Trump’s discussions. He does not give speeches but is much more a stream of consciousness speaker. He has taken many positions, virtually all of them classic conservative. His discussion on taxes, the border, abortion, guns, education, economics, the Fed, foreign aid, the Muslim hoard, Israel, China, trade, free speech, and much more are well within line with most conservative thought. If he is good for 5% of everything he has discussed we will be light years ahead of today. Frankly I see no downside to a Trump presidency. Call me cozened.

i hear him and i don’t believe a word he says. Not that i believe any of the others are more sincere, not at all. but again, it comes back to temperament. He’s thin skinned and a bully, and not someone i think who should be privy to the nuclear button. he’s given me zero reason to take anything he says on faith. he’s proven himself faithless in other endeavors.
