Thought I'd tune into Rush to see if there was any weekend news I'd missed.
COULD NOT BELIEVE what I was hearing.
Rush is as bad as Glenn Beck!
Hope he doesn't feel the need for Cheeto Dust too.

Oh the horror, Rush wants to make money. Holy crap, we used to have to go to the Democrat Underground or Daily Kos to see this kind of anti capitalist, Marxist claptrap.
I love Rush. I don’t have to agree with everything he says, nor do I listen to him every day. He’s funny, sharp, upbeat, he nails it again and again. He works very hard on his segments, really knows his stuff. He cleared my foggy brain after UC Berkeley and made me the fiery conservative I am today. He’s the best. Like I said, I don’t expect him to agree with me every inch of the way.
Rush is getting thin. He is nearing his sunset because he has run out of things to say, doesn’t care about it, is getting tired, is getting stale etc. We all do it eventually.
He has one bucket for money and one for crap. When one bucket gets full “enough” you go home. His money bucket was full long ago. Instead of a crap bucket he has a passion and enthusiasm bucket and it is gettign empty.
We all get tired of something and would rather make a change eventually. I think Rush’s time has come.
This is simply ridiculous. Rush was simply explaining what went on over the weekend and explaining again for 100th time that Cruz has broken no rules. Rush explained that the way Cruz is going about securing delegates for after a first vote is the same way Abraham Lincoln, using the same rules, won the nomination in 1860. Rush has also stated on numerous occasions that even though Cruz has not broken any rules he (Rush) doesn’t agree with them and that the rules should be changed such that the delegates mirror the actual vote. He also stated that these rules are the party bosses way of keeping control of the nominating process if one candidate does not secure 1237 on the first ballot. Rush does not support or endorse any Republican candidate during the primary and never has. Those of you in the cult of personality have to stop thinking that just because Rush doesn’t give full throated 100% support to your candidate does not mean he is supporting the other candidate. This is almost laughable because the people in the Cruz cult of personality claim that Rush is supporting Trump 100% over Cruz. All of you in any cult of personality have to stop being so emotional and start using some logic. Rush is in the anybody but a democrat camp. He will give full throated 100% support to whomever the Republican candidate is in the general election but he will not take sides in the primary.
Rush is NOT right 24/7. He has pulled some rocks over the years. When it comes to this election, he is right about one thing for sure, we cannot let Hitlery win, not now, not ever. I wish he spent more time on her little peccadilloes then pointedly undercutting Trump with his patently back handed “positive” comments. The term Trumpsters is not one of endearment. He loves to use it. I wonder why he has never used some word play about Cruz if he is so even sided as he says he is. Perhaps Cruz is the most conservative of the two but he has absolutely no chance to win this election. If he get nominated, I predict the dems post a 40+ state sweep. On the other hand, we could be getting rope a doped here believing she is the inevitable dem candidate. I think Trump beats her easily. I think he will have problems with a substitute candidate.

Yes, you’re missing something. Up until recently, it has been trump, Trump, Trump. I can’t believe people think Rush is not pro-Trump.

Thank goodness there is at least one other person not part of the Cruz or Trump cult of personality. At least one other person who thinks rather than using emotion to feel their way through this process. I agree with you 100% bboop.
Which is what he has said. Unlike a lot of people, he will support the nominee, regardless of who he is. Yes, most can tell that he prefers the conservative, but he does hate or bash Trump.
Those hating on Limbaugh should knock it off. Trump will need his unification efforts as a man who hasn’t compromised himself like Hannity, Herman Cain, drudge,Coulter, Levin, and Beck have.
It is stunning how quickly echo chambers can form.
I gave up on Rush when he went full-throated on Rubio.

I heard Cuccinelli on there, too. She asked him a question and his answer was to accuse of Trump of advocating violence. When Laura called him on it he started pushing the lie that it was Trump who planted the NE sex scandal. Laura told him it was Rubio and he started yelling “Roger Stone”. Another great tea party candidate!

I’m about ready to pull the plug on Rush, after many yrs as a loyal listener and 24/7 member. I bought my very first I-pod just so I could download his show. I don’t mind that he’s for Cruz, he’s entitled to his opinion, but what really frosts me is that he won’t man up and admit it. If he thinks Cruz is better he should make his case instead of weaseling and filibustering Trump callers with blather. He’s treating listeners like we’re stupid.

That civil war analogy is great, but I wouldn’t call Rush a moderate for trying to be fair to both candidates. Why does Cruz have to be destroyed? If it is a given that Trump has it sown up, why not try to start minding fences?
