How about in addition to public and private Reply a Like or Dislike or an Agree of Disagree button?

Thumbs down on this one. It appears there is no fix for those who wish to see an honest response. Padding the vote is easily done, and if you believe this site is at times slow at best when attempting to load a page...wait till you experience the task after including this newest little gadget. Bad idea in the making; good concept (however) Go! TRiUMPh is enjoyed by most here!

I kind of miss the old sidebar polls. Like & dislike buttons or arrows just makes it easy to swell a thread. If a thread is any good or real bad, it will swell on it’s own.

Sexism and racism will proliferate if we allow these symbols to be used.
I also think we should have a ‘safe space’ here on FR. A place where you can post a comment without worrying about someone not liking it and responding back.
