I could be wrong, but I don't think any of the major media outlets described the black, homosexual man as such when he murdered his television news colleague on camera in Virginia about a year ago.
I ran across this young singer a few months ago so I recognized the name. So very odd to see her come to a violent end like this.
Very sad. Memory eternal.
This is just awful.
This is terrible. But, we are going to be flooded with “gun stories” from now to the election, to make Clinton’s plans seem “common sense and reasonable”.

It sounds like it could have been a case of obsession/stalking. There are some real strange people out there, and unfortunately, they often fixate on young women.
I’ve been stalked, and received sexually explicit letters without return addresses in the mail. I never knew who the stalker was. I knew another person who was stalked, and her stalker was arrested loitering with a gun in the parking lot where she worked.
I wonder if the killer posted to her twitter or facebook account?

As of now, still no ID on shooter, but CNN story says police are going thru his phone and online postings, looking for a motive.
But they don’t want anybody else to do so?
Two things beside utter sadness. Did he know her? And should all venues for bands and singers etc have metal detectors to get in?
What was the motive to murder the singer? He drove long ways and had 2 guns an d lot of ammo. It was obviously pre-meditated.

The photo shows a smiling guy who is clearly alive. Mugshot? Journalist resorting to jargon, meaning generic ‘photo of face’?
Or an indication he’s been previously arrested?
I’m not finding any online mugshots or public arrest records for the guy.
