RACINE, Wis. —A Racine mother faces child abuse charges after she was accused of punching one child and stomping on another's neck Wednesday after bringing her own children to fight the kids.
The charging document said a woman told Racine police that Sherrita Johnson, 35, hit her 11-year-old daughter as well as another child.
When investigators spoke with Johnson, she said her 15-year-old daughter had gotten into an argument with a child at the woman's home near 21st Street and Thurston Avenue. Johnson decided to bring her daughter and her 12-year-old child to fight the children they had a dispute with, the complaint said.
The three went to the home and the fight began, the complaint said.
