‘“Sympathy For the Devil” was more of a warning than praise for the Devil.’

Thank you for the clarification.

Saw the Stones back in their early days in a small arena, it was great. Saw Stones again in 1975 in a large stadium, not so great.

I would trade those two shows for one live Beatles performance either after the Revolver album or after Sgt. Peppers album or after their White Album.

Saw Led Zeppelin in their early days in a large arena and was a great show.

Best large performance I have seen was The Cream, amazing show.

The one I still want to see in Van Morrison in a small venue, up front, all night show.

Oh and Peter Green in a jam session before that German LSD trip that ended the future of the most gifted rock and roll/blues guitarist ever.

End of the Game....

There is a youtube B&W video out there where they were doing a live show and singing "Help". John dropped the first part of the second verse and Paul and George carried on singing the first part of the second verse. It actually sounded great but the smirk on George and Paul's face was funny and the cameraman knew what was happening it seemed. They even tried singing louder until they got his attention.

Really though who would know if their concert was good or not with the screaming going on. I went to a lot of concerts The Eagles, Bob Seger, etc and people came to hear the music.

Grand Funk Railroad - the tightest band live EVER

Their only live video of "Locomotion" is good. Wet Willie was on stage with them. On youtube I think all Locomotion videos of Grand Funk is the one done with Wet Wille.
