Anybody else have the jitters, a nervous twitch, strange feeling about tonight-s debate? The only time I can remember feeling like this over a TV event was when Geraldo Rivera was going to open Al Capone's vault.
Personally, I think it's going to end up like a normal debate, Hillary will be jacked up on meds and perform normally, and that is my greatest fear, because then the MSM will dominate the air waves on how great she was.
Still, I almost cannot bear to watch, but will ...
It will be on CSPAN.
We are ordering pizza. I can’t wait to watch Sickery spazz out about the 30 minute mark and do a bug eye bobblehead.
My other choice is to watch Cleveland clinch on our home turf . . . no thanks! I’d rather watch a sport where we have a real advantage.

I won’t be watching. I will check FR for details and then decide if I want to watch the replay on the Trump website.
Exactly! The have already written the story line- ‘the ‘supposedly’ old, sick, frail, brain damaged etc old lady mopped the floor with the big tall guy.’ Then they fill in the lies.
I will definitely watch. If anybody wants to discuss it, one way or the other, afterwards I will be able to respond with what I saw and heard. The clips you see afterwards will be of whatever point some pundit is trying to make.

That’s fine. My only point was that I don’t need to watch. I know what I know already and watching the debate or really even getting anyone’s take on it won’t change my vote for him.

Every picture I see of her she’s more bundled up each time. Will she be wearing a parka tonight?
For all the talk of some campaign altering moment, the fact is that even according to the liberals favorite pollster Nate Silver, debates rarely, if ever, change the direction of the campaign. The tend to just reinforce the current trajectory (which is pro-Trump). For all the talk about Ford's "No Soviet domination of Eastern Europe" flub, the fact of the matter was the race had been trending toward Carter before the debate. Same for Reagan's "There you go again." line against Carter. The die had been cast when Carter didn't show up for the prior debate and the polls had started breaking toward Reagan already. The infamous Quail/Benson debate when Benson destroyed Quail with the "You're no Jack Kennedy" line. It is considered the worst debate loss in history. Yet, it didn't matter. Dukakis/Benson still lost in a landslide.
Many people on here are theorizing (maybe dreaming...) about Hillary seeming confused, looking out of it, falling down, going into coughing fits. We also fear Trump making some major gaffe or saying something that could be interpreted as sexist or something. But the truth is, both are professionals, while either could happen. The most likely result is Hillary will go out there and do what she needs to do, so will Trump, and the media can argue over who did better for a week until the next debate and then this one will be completely forgotten.
Hope her opponent has a jamming device to short-out her circuits.
But, then, the burning power of truthful commentary will burn a hole in her backside.

Anybody who bases their vote on these debates is a moron. Anyone who votes for anyone except Donald Trump is a hater of America. We all think it’s so cute to live amongst Hillary voters. Each one of them is dedicated to the total destruction of America and everything it stands for!
Checking out the live thread here at FR could be fun. It would be like watching an episode of Mystery Science Theater.
At that point, I realized that debates had NOTHING TO DO about substance, and everything about appearance, gotcha's, and smarmy, snarky comments, and the applause from the audience, and the spin by the talking heads afterwards.
Okay, I get it !! I used “bare” and no I won’t be watching naked, well, if things go bad for Trump I might be running around naked like a mad man running up and down the stairs with scissors in my hands, who knows?
