It's the Kaepernick Effect, stupid.

The alarming fall in NFL TV ratings this season is partly because of fan anger over on-field protests by Colin Kaepernick and other players of the American flag/national anthem, according to pollster Rasmussen Reports.

“I predict NFL does nothing. The SJW’s that run it will take the loss, hunker down and blame it on something else, just like Target.”

_____________________________________________

They’re already blaming it on the election. Apparently everyone is so enthralled with politics that they can’t watch football.

That makes sense. /s

If anything people are generally more in need of diversion/escape.

It’s not hitting the NFL directly......yet.

It is hitting the TV networks and people who make licensed apparel and other NFL products. As their profits fall they are going to want to renegotiate their deals with the NFL. But that day of reckoning is at minimum a year off.

Unfortunately it won’t be hitting them in the wallets much this season.

More corporations are going down the road of politically correct imagery at the expense of profitability. Reminds me of Twentieth Century Motors. But the CEO’s don’t care, they have their golden parachute, their bonuses, and they are generic interchangeable yuppies. This kind of crap should be starting wholesale shareholder revolts.

This is just another reason to stop watching football. In Chicago its easy.

Detroit, too.

It will hit the next time the NFL negotiates a TV deal with the networks.

The players have contracts. Colin Kaepernick's 6-year contract, worth $114 MILLION, started in 2014, and expires in 2020. I think Colin WANTS the team to buy out his contract, so he's being as obnoxious as possible.

I think many Americans are saying enough is enough!

And this bodes well for Trump!

It’s a real sacrifice for many of the football devotees to boycott the NFL. For others, it’s not a sacrifice at all.

Trust me, as a Lions fan, it’s no sacrifice.

Hollywood was infiltrated by leftist and “fellow travelers” in the 1930s and 1940s.

It was also well-documented that Hollywood in the 30s gave in to the Nazis’ demands that they not portray the Nazi regime in a bad light, so that the Germans would show their films.

NOTHING WITH rush IS FREE!

Given the shill and all of the rah, rah, rah, hype rush is for every minisqually "new and improved" Apple gadget that gets released there is no doubt in my mind that rush has "an arrangement" with Apple for big $.

I saw throught rush's Apple scam years ago: Ever notice how everytime there is a new Apple product release, rush ALWAYS already has it? Ever notice how it "just so happens" rush ALWAYS has extras to dole out and "give away" to special callers? Face it, rush's shill, hype Apple game is rigged.

Apple and rush have a "deal", and I bet it costs Apple pleanty.

Well if Rush isn’t making anything from it he’s a fool. Because Apple’s official line is they hate him.

I have my doubts about the faith of Ray "Accomplice to Murder" Lewis. But he was a lousy analyst and unwatchable.

I did enjoy Cris Carter's work.

Last year was a great year for football. Excellent games with teams really getting out there and playing their hearts out.

This year, the snowflake generation took the field and turned the football field into a daycare center.

Prediction: we will no long see beer and pick-up truck advertisements on the NFL. They will be replaced by ads for hemorrhoidal suppositories and feminine hygiene products.
