Do Not Trust Any Polls - October Surprise Thread #2
The Vanity Post | 18 October 2016 | 1Eagle

Posted on 10/18/2016 8:27:31 PM PDT by 1-Eagle

In 1996, The Clintons used Polls as Propaganda to suppress the Dole/Kemp Campaign. Imagine trying to get donations, recruit volunteers, or attract people to your rallies if your team has been behind in the polls by as much as 27% all summer, and those polls have been pounded into your brain 24/7. Thats what happened to Dole/Kemp.

Take a look at the poll averages for 1996 here:
1996 Polling on wikipedia

This example of polls being used as propaganda is instructive. Notice how Clinton is said to be leading by as much as 27% during one week! Yet on election day he won by 8%. This would seem to be a very radical swing of opinion, except that it is all fabricated. Only 2 of approximately 15 pollsters even finished within the fictional accuracy statistic called the "margin of error". This, alone, should show everyone that the "margin of error" is a fiction of the pollsters imagination. A propaganda tool to say "this poll is accurate within 4%" when no such thing is true, and certain was NOT true for 99% of polls leading up to election day.

How did we get into this discussion?

A Freeper did some impressive extrapolation of an LA Times Poll and discovered that approximately 57% of respondents were women, which is about 5% over the national census for 1996. Don't quote me on that, theres been a lot of water under the bridge. But that is close. Can't remember the handle of the Freeper that discovered this interesting demographics problem which slanted the poll toward Clinton because many women have been known to vote democrat for a reason that remains unknown. So this launched a lot of interest into the techniques used by pollsters especially when you consider the high water mark set by the polls with a lead of 27% for Clinton in mid-summer. Clearly polls could be and were being used as Campaign Suppression tools.

Any college student who has taken Statistics can vouch that the accuracy of a poll is determined by various factors with one of the most important being the size of the sample. In todays America of over 300 million people, you simply cannot call 500, 900, or even 10,000 people and get any accurate idea of what is going to happen if the election were held even today. There are too many factors including the time of day most calls were made, and so on and so forth.

Notice in this 1996 polling example how the pollsters covered themselves by finally making the polls show a tight race right at the end. By this time, the damage was done, the time for raising funds, recruiting volunteers, holding large rallies was over. It was now safe for the slanted polls to adjust and show a tight race. Having watched this carefully there was no doubt in my mind this was a carefully orchestrated propaganda scheme that worked perfectly for Clinton/Gore. Dole/Kemp struggled all summer to raise cash. A British journalist surmised after the election that in view of the finally tally of 8% if the media had not been so biased against Dole/Kemp they might have had a fighting chance.

Toss in the project veritos stuff and she should be 50 points behind. However I am afraid a lot of the issues coming out about Hillary are over the LIV’s head and they don’t understand any of it so they just ignore it and want to get on the free stuff express.

That’s Kelly Ann Conway’s business - polling - I guarantee you he has internal polls, very good ones.

I Pay little attention to polls. We know Reuters was caught rigging a poll a while back, I think CNN was too. I suspect others as well.

What I look at is what is happening at rallies. Trump supporters turning out in droves, over 10,000 at mot of them recently, while Hillary is doing good to fill half a basketball court. How can Trump be within 5 points with a rally attendance discrepancy like that? According to that alone he should be polling 15 points ahead. At least.

Outside the rallies, Hillary’s puppets are doing everything they can to start violence, riots if possible.

Aside from rally events, Hillary is throwing everything against the wall she can think of, hoping something will stick. This tells me she is desperate, she knows she is sinking.

And what am I not seeing? All through the campaign, we’ve seen liberals trolling the comments sections of many news articles, spouting the usual drivel, recently I’m seeing less and less of that.

Back to polls though, in addition to rigged polls, I think none of them are accurate to begin with, due to the number of people who will not admit it but will vote for Trump.

So I’m paying less attention to the polls than aver.

One would think that with all the eagerness to pass federal statues that one would be passed where a Photo ID would have to be presented in order to vote.

and that would be because his internal polls seek to actually discern the preference of the voter rather than to influence it.

Personally, I trust the “Margin of Error” for most polls to be more like plus or minus 30%.

Consider what it was like for Dole/Kemp with slanted polls like these suppressing any hope of victory all summer:

when a poll exceeds its own “margin of error” by as much as 10% which happened in 1996 - the “margin of error” was nothing but a figment of the pollsters imagination. Clinton was said to be leading by more than 20% on more than one occasion during the summer but won by 8%. All poll data is manipulated, and I’m saying for a bag full of unmarked $$$$ you can get any numbers you want. Who pays for the poll and what results make them happy? Follow the money.

I think my post here is mostly preaching to the choir, without a doubt, but there are many many visitors to FR that might learn from what happened in '96. And also we can pass the word around to help --- because the Clintons did it in '96, they are gonna do it again in '16.

If the polls say Trump is losing by 21% how many people will stay home? Dole/Kemp was hammered by polls like that all summer - they ran out of money - turnout at rallies was relatively small - nobody believed he had a chance.

But you miss the point that the race was always tight, and the vastly skewed polls were being used to suppress donations, volunteerism, and attendance at rallies. The polls will begin to get unbelievable for Clinton in the days ahead if I am right. I DO NOT BELIEVE Dole/Kemp were ever down more than 10% — those polls showing 21% leads for Clinton were bought and paid for, imho.

Also people lie to pollsters. I’ve been polled three times since June, I lied every time.

Not to worry.

I haven’t trusted polls since the 1980s when I worked in the ‘industry’ and quit in disgust at how crooked it is.

I learned from my bosses a hundred ways to make a poll give the results that the client wants to hear, but only an expert looking at the entire poll design, including the tone of voice used by the poll takers on every question asked would be able to tell whether it is an honest poll.

Notice who actually owns the polling companies. Sundance has been breaking them down and finding they’re owned by pro Hillary dem operatives.

That puts the very foundation into question.

After seeing how the Dems commit their voter fraud, today on the veritas video, it is complete insanity not to have one database of registered voters and their state IDs. I know my dad was registered in at least two states. He is dead but I am pretty sure in both states he will be voting for Hillary. There is no way to remove him from the voter roll. Supposedly the funeral homes send something in and that is supposed to remove the deceased from the voter rolls. But I have called many people on those lists and sometimes they’ve been dead for years.

Not to ask for ID and electronically mark the person as having voted is disenfranchisement. Not the other way round. There is no one too stupid to get an ID. If they really are that incapacitated, they shouldn’t be voting. I’m not allowing my mom with Alzheimer’s to vote. She alternately wants to vote or thinks she will vote. I told her it is too late to register. I also sometimes tell her that there comes a time in your life where you don’t vote any more. She would not know what to do in a Voting booth and I do not believe in abusing a senior and pushing her to vote my way.

But we need to check ID like they do in all other westernized democracies.
The only reason we don’t is so that these creeps can pay people to cross state lines and vote for the dem.
