At least three NBA teams have stopped staying at Donald Trump-branded hotels this season in part to avoid any implied association with the new president-elect, according to league sources.
Sources told ESPN.com that the Milwaukee Bucks, Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks have moved away from Trump hotels in New York City and Chicago, which bear Donald Trump's name through a licensing agreement.

After decades of never really getting into the game, I was an NBA fan for a short time a few years ago. I was starting to enjoy it, but as soon as they started sticking their nose in politics (for liberal positions, of course—specifically, the Phoenix Suns players vocal opposition to the Arizona immigration bill, led by Steve Nash) I stopped watching.
The sports world has decided to turn full-bore political. I’m over with the NFL, the NBA, ESPN..... The list grows.
They can stay in A Holiday Inn Express.
Maybe they will get some intelligence.....................

Exactly.They apparently didn't learn from the NFL viewership loss that sports viewers don't want politics mixed with their sports.
Looks like another boycott is in order. When will these people learn?

NBA? That wouldn’t be that bunch of illiterate clowns who make 50 times more,for bouncing a ball,than what the hardest working,most skillful brain surgeons and cancer specialists make,is it?

Do any of these teams CURRENTLY use any Trump branded hotels?
Would assume that a pro sports team wouldn’t go with the high end luxury hotels, but rather a typical high quality common brand.
I’ve given up football. I can give up the NBA.
Sounds like something Mark Cuban is trying to arrange.
