Little background- my 13YO daughter is an exceptional dancer that's been in several off broadway shows. She's also a huge supporter of Donald Trump. For the past six months she's been begging me to get her tickets to Hamilton (we live just outside NYC). I told her i refuse to buy her tickets to that show for a variety of reasons. My wife scored a pair of tickets for my daughter a few weeks ago and asked what i thought. "Worst case scenario," I said, "we can sell them on stub hub." After finding out what happened last night my daughter told me this evening she has no interest in seeing the show and is selling her tickets. She then read something on the Hamilton website which seemingly boasted about last night's events which angered her further. Bottom line; my daughter has been rapping and dancing to Hamilton for six months but is now so turned off by what they did she wants nothing to do with the show. I could imagine what the middle of the road ticket buyer must be thinking.
Better yet, find a very smelly street bum, buy him a bottle of MD 20/20 and ask him if he wants to get inside for the evening and hand him the ticket.
Does the government fund your dog groomer? Then why the heck should your tax dollars go to the arts? Cut off all funds.
The perfect answer. A smelly bum. But I’d have a trusted reporter waiting outside to make sure they don’t toss him out. When/if they do, said reporter gets an exclusive with him and your daughter on the injustice. Wow, would that ever knock these hypocrites down.

Good for your daughter. This reminds me of young people in the 60’s who smashed their Beatles albums when John Lennon boasted the Beatles were more popular than God. BTW, Lennon later said he didn’t mean it in a negative way.

AMC’s Turn (which is available on Netflix) might be a worthwhile alternative. It centers around the Long Island Spy Ring and features Washington’s character. There’s a PG-13 factor in terms of battle scenes, but nothing that I recall concerning inappropriate content.

Encourage conservative ticket buyers to set their cellphone’s ringtone to the presidential anthem “Hail to the Chief”, and let it rip full volume during the play. Repeatedly, and say “So sorry, but I’m upholding American values in response to your request to VP Pence!”. Disrupt their crappy play, like democrat protesters disrupted traffic in major cities. Time to fight back.
