Trump's brilliance

Posted on 11/22/2016 7:13:44 AM PST by djf

Here is the essence of Trump's brilliance.

The hell with the MSM!!!

He continues to release Youtube videos where he spells out EXACTLY what he wants.

And when the media complains, he basically gives them a middle finger and says when they start to report on him fairly, he might talk to them!

This means no more of the media slandering him and no more of the media simply playing a ten second spot and making people think that's all he is about... Trump can spell it all out and DOES spell it all out in his vids!

Brilliant!

The failing @nytimes just announced that complaints about them are at a 15 year high. I can fully understand that - but why announce?

This is exactly what I’m talking about. You would think NYT would be happy to talk to the President-elect anytime... but they insisted on “terms and conditions”, what the heck does that mean?

I can tell you it means at least one thing: if Trump met those “terms” then he would be treated better than if he didn’t.

Couldnt agree more.....

Imagine a weekly YouTube progress update from Trump....every week for his entire term. What was accomplished, what to look forward to for the next week. He could publish on Saturdays to set up the Sunday AM show hosts for a depressing Sunday, controlliong the narrative.....

The 70-year-old real estate guy from NYC knows campaigning better than the campaign managers, knows politics better than the politicians, knows communication better than the journalists.

A lot of the “elite” in this country have no actual skills. But because they generally compete against each other, someone like Carville may seem brilliant, relative to other elitists in the business. But an outsider like Trump who has survived in the real world — such a man has clear and undeniable skills.

The standard network (and local Austin stations) trick is to start off a report as if it were about Trump’s accomplishment, then quickly switch to cheap interviews and editorialism completely opposed to Trump.

The media is dishonest and treacherous down into their bone.

I would much rather listen to a you tube video like that. Then you don’t hear all those DAMNED cameras “snapping”. I’m surprised they still allow those with all the digital stuff going on today. Better to just hear him without the “filter” of the news media. Let them comment on the YouTube video. That we can mute.

The MSM is only useful to those who wish to hide their agenda from the public....

“How is this any different, from ANY president, who goes somewhere and gives a speech?”

The difference: a speech is available only to those present, who then selectively edit what the rest of us will see of it; via internet, Trump is making his complete comments available to the world without the consent of filtering reporters.

But we are all stupid and we need our information spoon fed to us by graduates of important leftist universities.

I loved watching Mr. Trump's YouTube video in which he laid out his plans for his administration's first 100 days. Short, sweet, concise, clear, focused, and uncluttered.

And it was full of WINNING.

In short, Trump read Alvin Toffler's The Third Wave and decided that the old "massified" mainstream media (MSM) is officially obsolete.
