A fairly good situational analysis of today.
Fortress America IMO.
Empires don’t work well.

I like global empire managed intelligently.
Rome had too few Trajans and too many Commodi.
Couldn’t watch it. I say it’s a false dichotomy. Today we have a global economy and even a global polity, but a nation may and must maintain its own integrity and interest, as a global participant.
What the “globalists” tend to is the ceding of all substantive powers to a shadowy cabal that rules over all. In fact a global plutocracy.
I think the global plutocracy was a central issue in this campaign, under whatever designations.

The opposite of Imperialism is not Autarchism. On the one hand some Empires were created to achieve autarchy, on the other hand reneging on Imperialism doesn’t mean ending all trade and interactions with other countries.
The US can’t afford being the tool of choice for enforcing the globalist world-conquering delusion... this is what ‘US Imperialism’ has evolved into. The permanent war racket under the pretext of ‘global liberal values’. American blood and treasure for an failed hegemonial policy that has gained Americans neither security nor liberty.
It's been a central issue in every national election in the western world, if not worldwide, since Brexit at least.

Time for America to go all Roman. We can force peace on the planet like Rome did in Europe—and stamp out any discord. Time to end warlike Islam! If we must bring peace at the point of a sword—it is our destiny. We tried working with people-—we tried muliculturalism—we tried being tolerent—they didn’t work. Time to go back to tried and true ways—tested by history. American World Empire—centered around a Fortress America!
