Stunned by todays press conference? So were the broadcast and cable news network anchors who led special coverage. Heres what they had to say right after Pres. Trump finished his remarks:
ABC: What a remarkable window into the state of mind of the President of the United States right there. George Stephanopoulos, 2:12 p.m. ET.
CBS: Well, a remarkable news conference Scott Pelley, 2:12 p.m. ET.
NBC: Pres. Trump concluding an hour and 10 minute long session with reporters in the East Room Lester Holt, 2:12 p.m.
CNN: Wow, what an amazing an hour and 15 minute briefing by the President of the United States. Wolf Blitzer, 2:13 p.m. ET.
Fox News: Wow. Well, all righty then, that was some press conference. Melissa Francis, 2:12 p.m. ET.
MSNBC: Well, that was a doozy of a press conference. Katy Tur, 2:12 p.m. ET.
I've been suspecting that since he came out asking about Obama's birth certificate. At the time, Free Republic was about the only forum left in which this topic could be discussed freely.
I was surrounded by liberals watching the presser. Laughing at him, etc. I had to leave. I can only imagine how their demeanor changed in the minutes following.
Maybe. Several day’s ago when Flynn resigned I posted a reply saying Trump should hold a rally and invite Milo to it.
Then .... Rally for Saturday in Florida.
Good going President Trump ... keep going directly to the people.
Well id be interested in the following Sentence!! they couldn’t possibly just leave it at that!!
Bush 2.0 was a deer caught in the headlights and got run over by the press.
Today, Trump was a Rocky Mountain Bighorn ram who terminated them with extreme prejudice.
The days when Republican Presidents carefully pretended to respect liars are over.
Crushed the “Russians Under the Bed” story as the fake news that it is.
Dems have nothing now, but they were able to screw with Mike Flynn’s life and that is a shame.

Actually, he was correct, if you look at "expectations".
Think "Not only beating the point spread, but scoring an impressive upset."
Like the the '69 Mets beating the Orioles in the World Series or Namath beating Unitas in the Super Bowl.
I also loved the way it popped up: Presidential press conference in 30 minutes, click here for official webcast. Bet it made them jump and holla.
Frankly, he’s too smart for all of them. He’s very smart, huge.
Interesting. I mentioned (on FR) coming to Macomb Co., MI - huge Iraqi Christian population, then he did and it flipped red. I also mentioned first order of business should be to get the Churchhill bust back in the WH - check.
Maybe not Trump himself(?) - but he’s surrounded himself with smart people, maybe it’s one or more of them.
I’m in the camp that thinks this briefing was really for us. Answered so many questions I’ve had over the last few weeks about how bad were the leaks and other opposition tactics. He said everything that needed to be said in his remarks, the rest was just cat and mouse.
I thought the best thing he said was that this country has been divided for far longer than since he and Barack Obama have been on the scene and he’s going to try to fix it.
One of the most glaring things, thru the entire press conference that I heard, was how much he used the terms, WE and OUR, when talking about his administration. The only time he used the term, I, was when he was talking about how the Dem’s and RINOs are delaying him.
All the negative stuff was about the Dem’s, Congress, and the Media, and how they are the ones that are obstructing.
He said repeatedly that he was only fulfilling the things that he promised during the campaign and that he was following EXISTING federal laws.
Anytime he spoke of the positive things going on with the country and with his agenda, he referred to all as they work, WE and OUR, are doing. Always giving credit to others around him.
Not that I listened much, if at all(because I can’t stand the sound of his voice), but when did obama ever say anything but use, I and MY, throughout all of his speeches. They way he described the Abbottabad raid, you would have thought he was the team leader and the first one thru the door.
I’m not sure if Fox Business was using a Fox camera feed, or if there was a pool camera, but, Trump’s face was significantly out of focus for a majority of the press conference.
It makes one appear disjointed. A technique used in movies and it was absolutely done on purpose.
That’s the most basic, and first thing you learn to do as a professional camera person. How to properly focus on your subject.
You zoom the lens all the way in and focus on the object. Then, reframe your shot.
The curtains in the background were in focus. Any person in the control room would have noticed it, if it wasn’t done on purpose and notified the camera person to, focus up.
A very brilliant (if a bit twisted) man who was my teacher once told me, or a group of us: “sometimes you have to act like a complete f*ing idiot” and I didn’t understand at all until Trump.
After making the above comment, I did a Google Search to look again at Aesops fable. In my search, I found this little jewel from American Thinker
