I hope everybody watched this on C-SPAN last night. If you really want to know what Russia is doing, watch this.

A vpn can also be used to protect your identity when you browse the internet. Also to guarantee that all of the data you’re sending and receiving is encrypted. I use one when I’m using a public wifi.
I’d just like to add that the entire hearing was nothing more than self projection.

It says the CIA disguised its own hacking attacks to make it appear those responsible were Russian, Chinese, Iranian or North Korean
Yes, and that info originally came out weeks ago, during Vault 7 release/Project Umbrage.
This hearing is not worth watching. They referred to the Russians of today as Soviets and did way too much history on USSR from the 30’s up until the present day. I guess they were trying to “inform” millennials, but this hearing was for nothing more than media sound bites.
I wonder how many cases in the U.S. were tried and had evidence of Russian or Chinese hacking? I would think those cases need to be reexamined. Maybe even a few laws.
We need to find out.
Seems our CIA is more interested in making the US hated than setting the stage for working things out. No wonder we're not respected.
The other two experts were more level headed claiming the Russians have been spying on us since the cold war, but have stepped up their efforts under Putin. They all agreed Russians are broadcasting propaganda and try to interfere in all elections in tge free world , not just ours and not so much to favor any candidate but to cause distrust amongst the people in the system.
One the positive side, it was exposed out that Russians supported black life matters in their news targeted in America, and one if the expert agreed the last 8 years of weak policy by Obama has embolden the Russians to be more aggressive.
Its obvious there is a lot of distrust in our president now by a good portion of snowflake's, but nobody in the hearing picked up on this connection, yet the Russians are likely happy with our present political discourse.
1. The hearings: one after another Democrat says the Russians influenced the election to hurt Clinton and benefit Trump.
2. Marco Rubio makes the broader point that Russians seek to sow disharmony in the west.
There are people out there who are not nice. The Euro-weenies are disarmed and addicted to Russia for oil and natural gas. The Chinese are running a huge trade surplus with us and using the cash they are generating to buy up our companies.
