These photos lack context. Facts: In 2015, over 40 football staff were on the stairs. In 2017, they were seated on the South Lawn. https://twitter.com/NYTSports/status/854793140125020160

The pettiness of the NYT in trying to diminish Trump knows no bounds. Roughly about the same amount of Patriots players and staff attended the Superbowl White House event in 2017 and 2015. The NYT publishes side by side photos to give a different impression by not including the full size of the crowd on the front lawn in 2017.

A Patriots spokesman, Stacey James, said Wednesday night that 34 players had attended, similar to the turnout when President George W. Bush hosted them in 2004 and 2005. He said that more than 45 players attended the ceremonies in 2002, after the franchises first Super Bowl, and that in 2015, when Barack Obama was president, the number of players approached 50.
and that's how you do it when you are a lefty shrill.
no quotation marks...so the exact number for 2002 and 2015 could have been the same.

The NYT is filled with secularists who think their superiority knows no bounds.
It’s no wonder that they characterized the last president as a saviour.
It’s absolutely scary that it was accepted hook, line and sinker by the population at large.

Naturally the NYT tries to turn selectively inaccurate comparison photos into propaganda.

From the NYT; Correction: April 19, 2017
An earlier version of this article included photos comparing the size of the Patriots gathering at the White House in 2015 and the gathering on Wednesday. The photo from Wednesday only showed players and coaches; the 2015 photo showed players, coaches and support staff and has been removed.

Exactly.
I had the same reaction to the Tax Returns Protests.
It means they’ve got nothing. Zero. Zilch.
They are slashing their own wrists in the swimming pool just so they can get the scent of blood in the water.
I do not fear these idiots anymore. Trump has marginalized them.
