Like a doctor performing microscopic surgery, I pour the contents of the rainbow bags into my cooker, reach for my bottle of water, insert the syringe, and draw up about 20cc. I squirt the water into the cooker, watch it move across the white powder and turn to liquid. I move my lighter back and forth under the cooker until the heroin bubbles. The smell is sweet. It makes my stomach turn. I bite off a small piece of a cigarette filter, and spit it into the burning liquid. It’s time.

I insert the needle, there’s a little sting, pull back on the plunger, and a dash of red-blue blood snakes up the middle of the clear liquid. A direct hit. Total euphoria!

Great article by a former heroin addict explaining why we are currently going through a massive heroin epidemic, how it started, and how the MEXICAN cartels - that's MEXICAN cartels for all the libs and RINOs reading this - took advantage of our weak borders and absolutely flooded the USA with heroin where we went from 10,000 overdose deaths a year to 50,000 in a very short time, and a huge number of those overdoses are young adults and teens. THIS is WHY we need a WALL NOW! And Trump talked about all this during his campaign, so what is going on? Where is it President Trump? And BTW: I'm surprised Huffington posted this article as it goes against their agenda to have wide open borders.

Also, it looks like he probably leaves most of the water in the syringe, then sucks the heroine/water mixture into the syringe. He inserts the filled needle into his body, sucks in some blood into the syringe, and then injects the blood/water/heroine mixture into his vein. ???

Which are uncommon on the street unless you've got somebody working in a hospital stealing them for you. Most user's works are insulin syringes or small volume (~3ml) syringes.

I use 20ml syringes every day at work and IMHO they would be impractical at best on the street.

I don’t know about that unless it’s a horse syringe. My Weedeater is 25cc/ml displacement and if you look at the piston size it is a whole bunch bigger than a normal syringe.

It’d take a very rich addict to work up to 20 milligrams even in one day. Heroin is still not cheap. And when I used to live in the city, I heard about overdose deaths quite frequently.

There’s a reason Keith Richards gave up heroin. It’s because the quality began to stink and it probably still does. I have little sympathy for addicts and don’t feel it’s a disease but I’ve always been blessed with very good will power except when it comes to a fine beer. The current problem lies with the drug companies and the government that enabled the situation to begin with.

The DEA says most heroin brought into the US comes from Mexico and Columbia.
