A USA Today review of “Dunkirk” is under increased scrutiny from industry peers for warning viewers that it lacks women and minorities.
Social media ridicule followed the publishing of writer Brian Truitt’s reaction to director Christopher Nolan’s latest film, a World War II tale about Allied soldiers attempting to survive while pinned down by German adversaries. The columnist gave the film a glowing review while saying its lack of diversity “may rub some the wrong way.”

Great Escape was a completely made up movie.
I loved that movie when I was a kid, but it’s fiction inspired by an actual event.
Total fiction, none the less.
If there is a modern day basketball film, I trust Caucasian men and women will have demographic representation.

Werner and a lot of the actors and execs were Jewish. They would never have played serious Nazis. Even so, there were still critics back in the day.
Brian Truitt should make a revisionist “Dunkirk” where the U.S. military follows current affirmative action rules (women, gays, transgenders), current political correctness, and current procedures for acquiring weapons and vehicles.
The result would have been a different kind of “European union.”
I believe all the Nazis on HH were played by Jews, except for Col. Klink who was played by half-Jew Werner Klemperer, who I think was raised Lutheran. His father was the famous orchestra conductor.
Yeah. Same here. I only go to the movies when my daughter wants to go. I enjoy taking her, But, these are kids movies and it's just a chance to spend time with my favorite person.
As far as movies I enjoy, I usually wait until they come out on BluRay. I've been looking forward to this one since I saw the trailer months ago.
I have an idea; make all the Nazis black and queer.
Hitler could be played by Kevin Hart and 50 Cent could be Goring. Maybe Snoop Dog can be Goebbels.
