“Wish our great President had loyal populist conservatives around him.”

Trump has the power to make your wish come true. But, you make it sound like the people around him suddenly appeared out of nowhere with Trump unable to do anything about it.

This is true. Any president has the ability to surround himself with exactly the people he wants to be surrounded with, and Trump is certainly not the man to be shy about getting rid of people he doesn't want - he built an entire TV career out of telling people they were fired.

And Trump has seemingly surrounded himself with people who don't seem to be on board with MAGA, and often seem to be at odds with Trump. All I can do is hope that Trump is going to enact the policies he promised to enact on the campaign trail regardless of the views of his underlings, and that he will make his people serve his purposes. If he does not deliver, I'll hold him accountable, not the people he's hired.

This is the crap we get when our candidate does not know whether he is a Rep. or a Dem.

Stop! Trump has got a mind for anything he wants to do...

He beat the crap out of 17 rinos before he beat the crap out of Killary.

The man has had the same message for 30 Years!

I don’t understand why Trump surrounds himself with the people he does. So far Nicks Hale is his only solid cabinet pick. The two generals are a disappointment. I don’t get it. Does he not have a say?

Wouldn’t surprise me if McConnell voted for Hillary.

Actually, doing away with the military aides to Senators and in Congressional offices would go a long way towards removing military bias from the Joint Services. Colon Powell was a republican aide. Too high a percentage spend time in Politican’s office’s working while on Active Duty... as do a high percentage of top brass come thru the service academies... and within the academies from the football team!

According to my brother in law who was an officer of the company at GD Searle under Donald Rumsfeld, The first order given after accepting the position was to write your letter of resignation undated.
I'm sure it is still the case today

Yet another victory for Jivanka.

But if the reports are correct, yet more bad advice from Bannon—as he supposedly pushed Kelly as the new CoS.

Partner, I guess President Trump needs to have this Cabinet meeting very soon to see who is for his policies and who is against his policies.

I hate to see General Kelley leave since he gave such an outstanding speech in St. Louis right after his son was killed in Iraq.

Like my H.S. Baseball coach used to say to us, "Rules are Rules" and do not break those rules since there are consequences for breaking the house rules.

Loved that discipline to this day in my early years. BTW, if you broke the rules there were swats to be administered on the posterior and how many depended on how bad you broke the house rules.

Of course, I received my fair share of swats.

the chief of staff managing his schedule? The Horror! No one “controls” Trump. Do you think Kelley told him to tweet the Golf Gif? How about the “I happened” retweet? Plenty of tweets over the last month would never make it by any “handler”. This is a useless story

Lou and Ed just apologized profusely to Gen. Kelly for comments made during last night’s broadcast.
