This comes right after he says that the sanctions have had the effect of nearly doubling their gas prices (how many people there drive?), and that Pyongyang spends about half the day dealing with power outages.
High rate of growth. When you multiply by zero you get zero.
Doubling or tripling a small number is easy. It’s much harder in a larger already successful economy.
It’s like saying Mexican economy for workers went up 100% as their wage went from 50 cents per hour to a dollar!
...and the Jiffy Pop generals in the middle.
Then move their asshole.
The cluelessness of the American tv viewer is not to be underestimated. Throw out network tv and the economy will grow 10 percent overnight.
And they all sing kuhmbya while flying kites.....

There is an explanation for the picture. Perhaps two. Obviously these are green people making the smallest carbon footprint possible. They fully believe in global warming and that all forms of production must stop to eliminate global warming, even if it means a little personal suffering.
But then again, maybe. lil Jimmie thinks if they turn off all the lights the bombs cannot find them...
But then again Kristof may well have had good observation of the failing economics of the Obama presidency.
Kristof would rather live under Lil’ Kim than Donald Trump.
