The glamorous face of Queen Nefertiti, who could have been the mother of King Tutankhamun, has been brought to life using the latest 3D imaging technology.
It took 500 hours to recreate the bust and the jewellery was even handcrafted by designers from Dior.
However, the colour of the 3,400-year-old queen's skin has raised controversy with people claiming she would not have been so fair in real life.

The influx of Sub-Saharan genes only occurred within the last 1,500 years.
They found that the ancient Egyptians were most closely related to the peoples of the Near East, particularly from the Levant. This is the Eastern Mediterranean which today includes the countries of Turkey, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon.

With many pharaohs, yes.
It is known that Ramses The Great had red wavy hair,
The results showed that due to centuries of war, conquest, immigration, and ethnic mixing - the ancient Egyptians were less Arabic than today (not more as they believed).
The ancient Egyptians were described as much more European in ethnicity than Arab.
Watch this propaganda movie (which is shown as part of the cirriculum in many Black Studies courses). It is complete rubbish, and claims that it was blacks who actually "invented" architecture, music, the fork, fashion, makeup, and just about everything else.
Ha. glad to see you Laz.
Ramses the Great is Ramses II, shown in post 16. The poor old guy died of tooth decay.

Leonardo Da Vinci was black.
George Washington was black.
Winston Churchill was black.
Shakespeare was black
King Arthur was black.
Isaac Newton was black.
Goethe was black.
George Wallace was black.
Rembrandt was black.
So there.
The Bible tells us Mose was found in a basket on the Nile by the Pharaoh's daughter and raised as her son. If Nefertiti was black than the Pharaoh's family was black and Mose had to also be black to pass as a son of the Pharaoh's daughter.

I forgot the sarcasm tag, sorry.
DNA certainly proves the case but especially older black nationalists in the U.S. (and maybe in Great Britain as well) try claiming math, engineering, architecture, art, etc. were invented by black Africans, claiming they were the ancient Egyptians, which they were not but that never dissuaded Malcom X for claiming it, as does Farrakhan today.
Unfortunately, that is a lie that has been told so often and probably is a lie that has made it into the U.S. textbooks so that all our kids now are as certain of it as they are of the 1970 lie of globull warming!
Actually, she looks like Barbara Streisand.
But, they wuz kangz!
You'd probably split it apart...depending on how well preserved of course.
OK Now prove it.
Yes his hair was red.
The hair on the mummy was dyed red from henna, but it really was red originally.
French scientists studied the roots under an atomic microscope and determined the DNA was for red wavy hair. I have no idea how that is done but they are sure of it.
Looks like the actress Rachel Ticotin around the time she was in Total Recall.
Looks like Cher.
