Did Russia's Social Media Campaign To Discourage Black Voters Cost Clinton The Election?

Russia’s effort to discourage minorities from voting for Hillary Clinton — described in a federal indictment released Friday — revives the mystery of why turnout among black voters declined so substantially from 2012 to 2016.

The indictment of 13 Russian trolls lays out a surprisingly sophisticated social media campaign to turn minorities, and black people in particular, against Clinton. Details of the campaign show that Russians understood both the significance of those voters in the election and the language of black social media. “Russians understood how important minority voters were to Hillary Clinton’s chances in this election. They were able to read the situation and say, 'If we demobilize this community, it could have enough of an impact,'” said Bernard Fraga, an Indiana University election expert who studied black turnout in 2016.

The fact is that Hillary should have won in a walk but black, white or polkadot, not enough (outside of NY or LA) people liked Herself. That and that alone is the reason she lost to the easiest opponent she could have faced.

The indictment made clear their goal was disruption, not preference. They only supported Trump because he was so clearly behind - they wanted a fair fight, only because it would last longer and cause more collateral damage.

Yeah, you’re right. Cause disillusionment with the election process in America, I get it.

Were Russian nationals in the indictment circulating through pro-Trump crowds & whispering “Is good you voting Trump make America greatski; this khorosho, da?”

As though elections in Russia represent pristine Jeffersonian democracy./s

Mueller’s desperation to Find-A-Crime is painful to observe.

He wants us to believe 13 nondescript Russians were organized to trash Hillary’s $1.5 billion campaign with a few hundred dollars of Facebook ads.

Hillary toiled for years to put together a hugely expensive campaign with a cast of thousands. She was obsessively covered by a fawning media, primed and eager to expose any dirty tricks against their candidate.

Hillary’s $1.5 billion campaign had media of every stripe covering her 24/7, yet the journos did not notice——Hillary did not notice——and her campaign apparat did not notice——that 13 Russians not even on US soil were working against her?

Hillary talks a lot about misogyny——sounds more like myopia to me.

Mueller’s belief that Russians placing a few ads on Facebook constituted “collusion,” and contributed to Hillary’s defeat, is one huge joke.

Remember:
Bolshevik-style communism implements “democratic socialism” - yes it’s a democracy, but The Party decides what’s voted on and the options available.

Interesting how those touting “democracy” rarely address _who_ gets to decides what’s voted on.

If there ever was a White Devil, she sure was one. I do wonder if the Haitian Relief plundering had an effect?

Her criminality and the public’s general revulsion for her personally is not even brought up.

Hey, National Media — Members of our electorate that happen to be black are not knee jerk stupid.

Unless Russians put guns to peoples’ heads and forced them to vote/not vote, their impact on the election was zilch, zero, nada.

No, Boris and Natasha discouraged Hillary from campaigning in Wisconsin by using mind control memes on Robbie Mook and John Podesta.

Seriously, this is what happened.

Most of my co-workers are black females. I remember how excited they were to vote for Obama. But they showed no interest in voting for Hillary.

><><

I suppose that they won’t acknowledge any of the good things trump has done, even larger take home paychecks.

You’re right. Mueller’s charges are preposterous.

I think this further supports the idea that Mueller is a purposeful Sting operation for going after the DeepState.

Now that Trump has been thoroughly vetted and nothing has turned up, the Dems can hardly complain when Hillary and Obama are also investigated.

What’s fair for the gander, it fair for the geeze.

What we must be careful is to prosecute Hillary, Obama and others without losing political power in the process. And so this requires some patient, delicate treatment — which admittedly can be quite frustrating.

“Amazes me how the MSM is still in denial “...... The MEDIA? What about the “Pants Suit Hag”? She’s still blaming everyone but herself. The American people saw know of her evil, historic record and didn’t want any of it so she LOST. End of story...... Can’t the media find anything of value or importance to write about instead of revisiting that crap? ------------------------

Yes, Killary is still talking blame game but I think she knows where the fault actually belongs. I'm simple amazed that the media and these dim wit professors are still churning out the excuses for her, knowing full well she was a toxic candidate with more baggage than UPS could delver in a day. I'm just in amazement sometimes. Some have been drinking the Kool-aid and in their twisted little minds still believe in her, but a lot of them have to realize that she was the wrong candidate.
