Caitlyn Jenner has claimed that Donald Trump has set the transgender community in the U.S. “back 20 years” in an address to the British Parliament.
The I Am Cait star, a registered Republican, urged the UK “not to go down the same road” in her address in the House of Commons. The address was the featured speech at Channel 4’s annual diversity lecture.
Jenner reportedly voted for Trump but subsequently revealed a case of buyer’s remorse after branding his decision to end federal protections allowing transgender students to use bathrooms that correspond with their gender identity a “disaster.”
Introduced by Channel 4 CEO Alex Mahon, Jenner also called London possibly the “most culturally diverse city in the world.”
Jenner, who transitioned in 2015, discussed the first few years of her experience. “When I came out the first year was very good, everything was going along great and then all of a sudden I became this person of privilege. I didn’t ‘get it’ when it came to the trans community, we have a very marginalized community and I didn’t get it and I got so much of this for so long. I will never apologize for everything I’ve been able to do because I’ve worked very hard and I’m not going to apologize for working hard and being successful. But what that does is gives me a sense of privilege but it also gives me a platform.”
“I always suggest to every trans person out there, everybody has a platform that they can utilize to make it just a little bit better for the next generation coming up,” she added.
Jenner’s comments come after the move to feature her in the lecture was criticized by a number of people. RuPaul’s Drag Race star Carmen Carrera said that Jenner’s “number one mission was to be the Mother Theresa of this community”, while transgender comedian Shon Faye said Jenner’s life story is “far removed from what British politicians need to be hearing and considering on this issue”.
Who knew the availability of public restroom could totally define and ruin your life. Wow! Public restrooms!!

On the other hand this gender dysphoria thing is real. The people I have empathy for is those who truly are mentally mismatched with the gender their body is. It must be a living hell. Of course it is a form of mental illness. I can’t even imagine what it would be like. I doubt there will ever be a cure for this. It’s how God or a quirk of nature made them.
Unlike you I believe there will be a ire or a prevention. One we figure out what causes it. I am nearly positive it happens in utero during the tiny margin of time when the brain’s gender and sexual pathways are determined. It’s like one week. Might be shorter.
To think that many if not most American young women have uteri containing bisphenol A, an endocrine disrupting plastic! That alone could be what is messing with our sexual/gender problems. Or it could be something else. But I believe it is environmental on a helpless first trimester fetus, inside a helpless young woman’s uterus.
Oh for the good old days when all the freaks stayed in the closet and kindergarteners were not required by twisted governments to learn about the variety of perversions enjoyed by the perverts.

It’s not a she, it’s a he. You can’t make 2 + 2 = 7 no matter how politically correct it is.
I refuse to go along with the delusions of the mentally ill. Most people won’t either..
