Just five hours after four people were injured in a dog attack in the North Sound, the animal was euthanized.
It happened around 12:30 p.m., off Cemetery Road in Arlington.
Police say four Jehovah’s Witnesses parked in front of a house and as soon as one of them - a 70-year-old woman - got out of the vehicle, a pit bull attacked her.
“I just heard the screaming - I heard some screaming and I didn’t really pay much attention to it. I was on my phone and I just thought it was kids. It sounded like a little girl screaming,” said neighbor Bryant Christy.
He was horrified to learn that it was a woman screaming for help. Two people inside the house and the three people who had been inside the car did what they could.

the JW that come to my house are the oldest people in the congregation. I have a long hill of a driveway, and i feel bad for them. I give them water and say no, thank you.
We never use pitt bulls against Jehovas Witesses. My father would answer the door and ask “Will you salute the American flag?” The JW’s were always surprised by the question. After about 5 seconds they would say “No, but..” then Dad would say “Get the hell of of my porch!” Dad actually enjoyed the JW visits.

When the owners start getting prosecuted for not controlling their lovable little Tasmanian Devils, frequency of owning that breed is likely to change. Already, many landlords will not rent to someone with that breed, among other aggressive breeds.
OMG, you just triggered a childhood memory of my uncle in San Diego who was a WWII Army Air Force combat veteran. Whenever he would see Jehovah's Witnesses coming up his street, he would go out on his porch and wave his American flag and dare them to come to his house. They always gave him and his house a wide berth. LOL.
I’ve only had a couple run-ins with JWs. I respect them for what they are doing. I believe their intent is righteous. But I am a practicing Catholic. Oddly, I have found that telling them this does not deter them.
On the one occasion, I tried to cut the “solicitation” short by telling them my religion. I sensed some frustration as they continued to ask me questions. I politely asked, “Do you think Catholics should be allowed in Heaven? Do JWs judge Catholics?” After a pause, they stopped and I politely told them good bye and God bless.
I let a JW in the house once. I had my back turned and heard my pit Yelp. He’d jumped up to greet the guy, and he stepped on his hind foot. Said he heard that was how to keep a dog from jumping up. Well, OK. My dogs loved JWs. Most other folks were afraid of the dogs, but the JWs waded right in.
I’ve got two Shepherds.
I don’t even need to answer the door, because the sounds they make from inside the house convince anyone at the door that they should proceed to the next door just as quickly as they can.

My stepfather did the same with JW’s. lol...ah, the good old days.
JW men have now taken to calling pastors and sharply arguing, calling them derogatory names and badgering them.
The words “Jehovahs Witness” chill the spine of everyone who has ever worked in a hospital Emergency Department.
My older sister and her 3 kids just gave up being JW’s. She was in it for 50+ years. She finally figured out they were a cult.
Are those dogs for rent?
Tell them you believe in the Holy Trinity.

A few days after the Blizzard of ‘77, there was a knock on my door. I answered it and the guy standing there said, “Hello, I with the American Communist Party. Could I have a few minutes of your time?” I answered, “I need to get my shotgun first. If you are still on my property when I get back, there will be a problem.”
He was not there after that.
