Good (and bad) movies come and go, but some films garner such a fierce, loyal following that they reach cult status. People watch them over and over and over again. They host parties to watch them some more. Midnight showings at movie theaters draw incredible crowds, and oftentimes, fans "act out" the scenes in front of the screen.
Actors who happened to have been in cult movies enjoy lifetimes of stardom (to one extent or another) and can probably make a living signing autographs at events and Comic-Con ad nauseam.
Are you a huge fan of any cult classic? Here are some favorites below. Weigh in with the ones you can't get enough of!

It's a great little movie, but I doubt itg has a cult following.
But that's obviously okay, since other posters have listed movies that are NOT "cult" films either and I wonder if anyone but I, actually looked at the list in the article.
No,much to the dismay of my daughter——I’ll have to check it out——it’s on Amazon or Netflix,I think, and I have both.
Oh I loved Phantasm! Got the whole set.
Never have been able to get through that film for some “queer” reason.
Never seen SPINAL TAP or BLUES BROTHERS.

FWIW, I am a fanatical follower of several British movies. Whether you can call them cult classics ... well, I’m not sure.

The best King Book and Movie though not a cult classic was ‘The Stand’. The casting was prefect!

An underappreciated classic. I am not certain even to this day that Jan Michael Vincent was acting.
