SNL did not even have a Obama impersonator when became President. They had a tough time trying to do impersonation. Since Most of the cast was white I think a guy was in black face at one time. Jay Pharaoh at one point did Obama but they kept rejecting the skits. So they finally took him off as Obama and then fired him.
It was Free Armisen who did Obama a few years. He is half anglo as his mother is German but also half oriental as father is Korean.
They had two different guys for the rare times they did. Ironically at least one was a guy in blackface.
Yeah, they were pretty skimpy when it came to Obama. And Hillary for that matter.
But, here is the one time they got it right on Trump.
