“Their ignorance and greed is stunning. I guess when you are locked up for a whopping two to three weeks your true self emerges.”

Nah, most were worried about their nickels from day 1.

I love the 23rd psalm.

It never fails me, when I pray it with all my heart.

I got some odd looks with my bandanna mask. I tried to pick my most stylish one. It has an elephant on it. I kind of like that one. It’s Petunia’s bandanna, one of my dogs. Of course it had been washed.

I hadn’t considered it fogging up my glasses though. That was a problem while driving. And because the bandanna went above my nose, it pushed my glasses forward a bit, which made them fall off my face while I was picking groceries out of the basket to ring.

It’s also fairly difficult to breathe through, especially with a coffee filter between the layers. As my basket got heavier, this became a bit of an issue.

I’m going to improve my design next time with a strap to hold my glasses on.

It’s truly beautiful. It gives me comfort, and today, courage.

I read that there were cases on the west coast in Dec. and perhaps Nov. that might have been Covid. I think they have mostly gotten the S form, whereas Italy and NY have gotten the L or lethal form. Also I read that we had 80,000 flu deaths last year which is higher than the usual 30 to 70k. I wonder if some of those were early Covid. They should be reexamining some of those deaths.

“WE wonder who the candidat will wind up being.” There is now a “#President Cuomo” out there. Time will tell how much it swells.

I think so. Perhaps a November December sweep immunized a lot a lot of people/With all those numbers they scare us with, it seems that most folks don't get the current CCP virus. I know we got something here in February that seems to have affected a large part of the county. All the people I know had discomforts and some were sick. I don't know if anyone died from it because without the WuHan hype no one was paying attention and deaths in the hospital would not have made the news beyond the Obits. Now we have under thirty cases official count in the county and one dead. The number is not rising exponentially but by 1 to 3. Two large employers are staying open an d working, the paper mill and the shipyard where I work. "Social distancing" on the job ain't gonna happen. It is enforced at the food concessions but the men in the shipyard are working on top of each other. They had been sending everyone home for 2 weekw who came to work with a cough or a sniffle. Now they just touch a digital thermometer to all as they come in. No one out of about 1500 men has got the CCP virus yet.

Fever does appear to be one of the first symptoms of Covid. One thing that is recent in the news is that 98.6 my not be the “normal” temperature. Now they are saying 97.?. Mine has always been in the high 97 area. Second way to test would be a smell detector. You could have say, 3 pieces of blotter with a very weak scent, a moderate scent, and a strong scent. Possibly 2 sets, one with 3 noxious scents and one with 3 pleasant scents. Have each person who has a low temperature then smell a weak sc with 3 noxious scents and one with 3 pleasant scents. Have each person who has a low temperature then smell a weak sent. If they can’t smell that smell the other weak scent. If both are not smelled, then try the 2 medium scents. Then the 2 strong scents.

Since sense of smell and taste are often the first to go, even before symptoms, they could then be told to take, or give zinc or calcium/magnesium/zinc supplements to start taking immediately. And more closely monitored even if the temperature seems normal. Perhaps asked to wear a face mask or put to work where they can maintain social distance.

My normal temp seems to be 97.3. I never have had much of a sense of smell and my wife tells me I have no taste.
