I may have misheard, but if I didn't and the falsehood rises again, here is the antidote.
Yes, that “study” (which they don’t link to, conveniently) does claim that “use of police force” is the 6th cause of death for you black men. But “use of police force” could be 1% of total deaths, 0.1%, 0.01% - who knows. Just saying it’s 6th means nothing.
Also the study says that black men are 2.5 times as likely to be killed by police than white men. I’m actually surprised it’s not higher. They do go to jail much more often, and are convicted of more crimes, etc. Not surprising that they are killed by police more often.
Sure it is because you have more black criminals percentage wise of the black population. Black men are about 5% of the population and they commit about 50% of all murders.
So I agree they have a higher rate vis a vis white men. BUT, that is a long way from the 6th leading cause of death.

I have no idea. I’m wary of studies (not to mention models) because so many assumptions are made.
As someone else said, a post or two above, more blacks commit crimes than whites. That’s one fact that is indisputable.

It looks like the Michigan study is the one he was referring to but that is all deaths with the police whether justified or not. Someone shooting at the police being killed by police gets counted.
Chris Wallace did say blacks killed by cops was the 6th leading cause of death. Baby boomer blacks must be leading the other causes.
