Ebola won’t be there but Hantavirus might be, it’s a hemorrhagic fever endemic to the American Southwest.
Spreads via wild rodent droppings. Some symptoms similar to Ebola. Rare, but one of my neighbors died from it back in the 1990s. She was a very fit 30 yr old who had been camping out in the desert, maybe in a cabin, I never new the exact details. Doctors thought she had contracted the flu until the symptoms became dramatically worse.
