In France, Arresting Those Who Call For Self-Defense

The recent rape of a French woman, identified only by her first name, Mégane, by a Muslim migrant, Oumar Ndiaye, was particularly brutal, leaving the victim in a month-long coma. Now she is out of the coma, but still in critical condition. A dozen French protesters recently stood silently outside Ndiaye’s home, holding signs to protest the fact that despite 17 previous offenses, Ndiaye had remained free — and while free, had committed his rape. Now it is those protesters who face prosecution; they face up to five years in prison for taking part in a silent protest. More on this potential miscarriage of justice can be found here: “French activists face up to 5 years in prison for protesting outside house of migrant accused of brutal rape of 29-year-old Mégane,” by John Cody, Remix News, September 13, 2023:

After a migrant allegedly raped a French woman so brutally with a broomstick that she was forced into a month-long coma, two dozen right-wing protestors marched outside his home in Cherbourg, France. However, at least half of them are now facing criminal prosecution and up to five years in prison for an “unauthorized gathering” and for “promoting self-defense” despite the French government’s glaring inability to protect its own citizens….

The suspected rapist, Oumar N., is now in pre-trial detention for sexually assaulting Mégane. The suspect gave her such grievous wounds when he raped her with a broomstick that she nearly died. Emergency workers, including hospital staff, reportedly broke down in tears while treating the woman and some needed psychological counseling.

These two dozen protesters were not violent. They didn’t threaten anyone, they didn’t shout. All they did was hold up a sign — “The state doesn’t protect us. Get ready!” — and a photograph of Oumar Ndiaye. Why did such a peaceful gathering need to be “authorized”? And what is wrong with “promoting self-defense” in the absence of sufficient protection by the state? In the case of Oumar Ndiaye, it was the state’s negligence that allowed him, after committing 17 criminal offenses, many of them violent, to still roam free, and thus he was able to assault his latest victim, Mégane.

The better thing to do would be to regroup the old Italian Mafia to clean up the streets. Or, ya know, DIY.

Would I support smuggling guns into France for helpless citizens to defend themselves against the Muslim marauders?   Possibly.

Yep. Activities that were once unquestionably protected by the First Amendment are now being re-classified as “hate crimes”.

And all such “crimes” deserve punishment.

It’s pretty obvious Western governments don’t like their populations and want them gone.

Can anyone think of a civilization that intentionally killed itself off? Yes civilizations decay but is there an example of elites actively destroying their empires?

The American Deep State will not let Trump win.
The French Deep State will not let Le Pen win.

Will either person be able to overcome the Deep State in the future?
Unfortunately, it’s not likely.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

How’s that Camp of the Saints thing working out? We’re already looking at something similar here.

Unfortunately it is not that they just want it but they are getting as well, as our society is slowly disintegrating especially in all the socialist run cities. Of course they like to be referred to as liberals as it has a more pleasant ring to it.

That's the problem. They should have broken in and killed him. Only such violent eruptions will force the government to act.

“Yes civilizations decay but is there an example of elites actively destroying their empires?”

Things could never get that far before the 20th century and the invention of nuclear weapons. It’s only that that allows a regime to get so far along the path of self-destruction without some other country taking advantage and conquering them.

From the same book:

“In the Criminal Code of 1926 there was a most stupid Article 139 — ‘on the limits of necessary self-defense’ — according to which you had the right to unsheath your knife only after the criminal’s knife was hovering over you. And you could stab him only after he had stabbed you. And otherwise you would be the one put on trial. (And there was no article in our legislation saying that the greater criminal was the one who attacked someone weaker than himself.) This fear of exceeding the measure of necessary self-defense led to total spinelessness as a national characteristic.”

...And that is what Liberal Commies seek: “a total spinelessness as a national characteristic.”

They already got it, its worse here than in France. Here this story would not even make it in the news.

Unbelievable. This POS should have been put up against the wall a long time ago.
